“Fantastic peaceful piece of heaven!” We arrived on the Friday night so it was dark, got inside the house one word WOW! In the morning the views from the balcony amazing peaceful beautiful place, grounds spa all beautiful, if you get a chance you must stay at this little piece of heaven!
The house was a real treat, being warm, clean and very comfortable with a lovely view from the back windows of the property. The upside down layout worked really well and makes the most of the propert… More

“Beautiful cottage, village and countryside.” 11 friends and I went for a long weekend to the cottage and had the best time. The cottage is stunning with plenty of space with a big table in the dining room to accomodate all of us for very socialable mealtimes and boardgames and and a big comfy lounge for more socialising. The garden was also perfect for entertaining in the sunshine with a BBQ on the go. The pool was also great fun and plenty warm enough. The owners hospitality was lovely too, with fresh farm eggs making all the difference to our breakfasts. The touches such as the decor, the games, books and maps in the cottage all add to the experience. The village is stunning and the local pub and the bar staff very friendly with delicious food and you can walk from the village out into the lovely countryside. Would go back in a flash.
“Perfect family holiday home.” We spent a week earlier this month at Nethercote House for a family reunion and we all loved it.
The house is spacious, spotless and very well equipped. The fact that it is in walking distance of Bourton-on-the-Water, with all it's attractions, was an added bonus.
My family is already talking about a return visit.
We have no hesitation in recommending Nethercote House.
We love Nethercote house. It’s our second stay for a group of old college friends. Our favourite part is the lovely kitchen/diner where we can cook, chat and eat without getting in each other’s wa… More

“38 Isis lake Cotswolds” Lovely property in a lovely setting.
Well equipped. Enjoyed our stay very very much. Would recommend to everyone.
Thank you very much for letting us stay in your holiday let.
The owners even left us tea coffee milk and a lovely cake for our arrival. Thank you so much well appreciated . It made us so welcoming from the first time you walked in .
“Amazing” Really enjoyed the weekend break we had. The accommodation was clean, tidy and inviting. The setting was amazing and we would definitely go back. Thanks for a wonderful time. I would highly recommend it.
“Comfortable, beautiful walks in the countryside and extremely clean.” I was impressed with how easy, quiet and relaxed it was to get into the cottage. Everything looked so welcoming and I immediately felt that every efforts had been made to make my stay the most pleasant, enjoyable and stress free. The bed felt clean as if the sheets had just been freshly ironed and was extremely comfortable. Nothing was missing in the cottage and it's beautifully equipped . The cleanliness of the kitchen and bathroom is impeccable and very impressive with high standards. WiFi is very strong and there is a good choice of TV channels, DVDs, books and maps of the area. It's perfectly located for long walks and hiking around the Cotswold. I would have happily stayed for a whole year!
“Wonderful Weekend” What a beautiful cottage, Petrina & Steve are available if needed but none intrusive. Our party of six and two dogs had plenty of room. The cottage was fantastically clean and well equipped and I would recommend without hesitation, so much so we intend to re-book
“Lovely cottage, great location” We spent the Easter break at this lovely cottage in picturesque Chipping Campden. The property is larger and even nicer than it looks in the photos and is very, clean and well equipped to ensure a very comfortable stay. The 'eccentric' toilet was a bit problematic, however. Locationwise, you couldn't ask for a better spot to enjoy all the area has to offer. Our favourite eateries – the wonderful Chef's Dozen and Huxleys – are literally across the road, and all the sights are a quick drive away.
“Excellent stay in the cotswolds” We stayed at Clearwater 29 in December with friends, we all have young children and the property was perfect. There were amazing views from the lounge and two of the bedrooms, these views can be enjoyed from the balcony in warmer weather. Everything was clean and nice towels and bed linen were provided. The kitchen had everything you could need, we managed to cook a roast dinner without a problem with the pot and pans that were there, kitchen also had the basics like sugar and tea so we could have a drink when we arrived and waited for our online shop to delivered. We also had access to the onsite spa, we used both the indoor and outdoor pool which were great. Great weekend in a great house, we are hope to return again.
“new england like house & position by lake” stayed with family primarily due to the location close to the 4 pillars hotel for a wedding reception.Property well maintained, clean, warm, kitchen well stocked with utensils, lounge seating comfy, beds excellent.

“Super weekend away!” Booked as a weekend gathering for a few couples and our small children. The house worked extremely well and living areas felt spacious even when we were all together. The house is extremely well equipped and has beautiful views over the lakes. A super weekend away enjoyed by all!!
“Calm retreat in great tourist location, spacious, well laid out & clean.” Owners were very helpful in the lead-up to stay, answering all emails in a friendly, polite manner _ thank you! I stayed with a group of friends as weekend away before sister's wedding. Easy to find the cottages by postcode alone & lots of parking (even though we had 5 cars & there were people staying next door!) Supermarket delivery found us no problem. Lots of dining/kitchen ware which is handy as we stayed in both nights. Rooms comfortable & bathrooms on both floors ideal. Clean & crsiply decorated. We were very fortunate with weather when there (it's been awful recently) which meant it was actually on the warm side & also the light curtains/blinds made a lie-in difficult. I've noted to myself that I should take a portable blackout with me though as I'm a bit fussy! It would be an ideal layout for a family too - loved the toy chests, so may well be back with my little one & friends/family! Can't believe we didn't make it to the games room (one of the reasons I chose this property) - too busy gassing!
During the day we went to Witney Lakes Resort, as recommended - very pleasant & only a short drive - & Woodstock/Blenheim - quite a long drive but always worth going out of your way for. Also went for a walk/lunch in Lechlade on departure which was lovely.
“Beautiful House, Picturesque Location & Spacious Accomodation” We stayed here for my parents Birthday and Bank Holiday long weekend rest away from it all.
The location is perfect for exploring, the size of the house and its rooms were perfect for our group. The local pub (Golden Ball) serves lovely food just a 200 yard walk down the road or the nearby villages offer all the supermarkets, restaurants or takeaways you may desire.
We can recommend Breakfast at the Cricket museum, Stow on the Wold high street or the Chinese takeaway and fish and chips in Bourton on the water.
I would not recommend this to single sex groups or people looking for a city break.
This is perfect for a family get together, Retreat or exploring the beautiful surrounding Cotswold villages.
