Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Break during the school holidays” A lovely well looked after accommodation. Very easy to find within a lovely holiday park. Spotless with some added touches such as the DVDs and tea/coffee as well as a nice view out the back. Very central location for Aviemore, Landmark Forrest Adventure and the Highland Wildlife Reserve which we visited on the way. Both parents and kids had a great time ,would definitely recommend to others :)
“Stunning farmhouse, location and views!” Balvattan is a beautiful traditional farmhouse tastefully modernised in all the right ways. A fantastic family kitchen is great to get everyone together and with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms there is lots of space for all members of the family. The garden is fully enclosed so ideal for our four legged friend. The most spectacular feature of the house are the views of the Cairngorms which are truly spectacular.
Location is ideal too with easy access to all the key places - Aviemore, Boat of Garten and Grantown. The only down side to this is the cost of taxis if you fancy a drink whilst your out and about but to be honest drinks on the patio at the house are even better! We'll definitely be back!
“Wonderful stay in the Highlands!” I stayed with my daughter, son in law and their two children aged 3 and 9. The accommodation could not have been more suitable for our needs. The house is extremely well presented, spacious and nicely decorated throughout. The bedrooms are a good size, the living and dining room space is so well laid out and the kitchen is excellent. Parking space for two large cars no problem. The children loved exploring the garden and it couldn't be situated in a nicer spot. The village shop and hotel are a short walk away and both are excellent. This is an ideal spot to stay if you want to explore the surrounding area. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend.
“A fantastic place to stay” On arrival at Heath cottage,we were delighted to discover that the cottage is much nicer than the pictures on the website reveal!
This cottage is so homely and well thought out, we had everything we needed (and more), and it was very homely and clean.
The village is beautiful, and quiet and an ideal base for a holiday exploring the Highlands, and having a beautiful forest at the end of the garden was amazing!
