"Small but nice"
We stayed at Sea Angel with our two kids (6&8) for the half term in June 2012 . Of course it is a small chalet, but to spend a holiday in Cornwall does mean, that You're more out for the most of … More

What can I say? Great location, clean and tidy and good value for money.
Shabby Chic is an apt description of this property and in no way is it ever going to be 5* accomodation but it proved to be a relaxing, if at times a little wet, pre Xmas break.
We would not hesitating this property and location to our firends and will definitely come back again. Enoough said.

"Heaven is a little seaside chalet called Sea Angel"
We love the Sea Angel; she is such a dear sweet little chalet.
The decoration is a quaint shabby chic style. Everything you could wish for in a holiday home, Fridge Freezer, microwave, cooker and electric power shower. I loved the personal touches, scented candles, homemade art work. The main bed is like a huge marshmallow that you sink into and enjoy the most wonderful re charging deep sleep. The living room has a large sofa bed, and also a small kitchen table and chairs with a window view. Opening the stable door in the morning to let the sea breeze and sunshine enter just sets you up for the day.
I was able to park the car next to Sea Angel which is perfect as I have mobility problems.
We found the park very friendly with a nice mixture of home owners and holiday makers. Excellent recycling facilities which was important for us. The beach was only a stone throw away; we always found this to be very clean.
The only regret was we stayed for a week, when we wanted to stay for ever.

We booked Sea Angel for the first 2 weeks in September 2011 and were totally ripped off. It was extremely dirty when we arrived and took us the best part of 3 days to get it acceptable. The floors wer… More
There are two families who at present are trying their best to bully and blackmail me for money, as i have a public profile in my other line of business and they seek to discredit me to gain money and free holidays and seem annoyed that while the riots where on in the UK i was in Hawaii, nothing they say is true, apart from there was dirty shower curtain, due to a new cleaning agency which was not acceptable, but would have been changed if they had complained once in 14 days stay they did not! I have had to speak to lawyer for a case of liable and slander, against them. If you watch the BBC documentry on Trip Advisor not only do you not have a voice to reply as a owner, but these remarks are never removed and also trip Advior probably will not let me post a reply, this is my second attempt at replying. It has come to my attention that these families know each other and both booked two weeks in August. I have nothing to defend as Sea Angel is adorable, clean and lovely. I work in the spiritual world of karma in my other line of work if your not into good karma please do not stay here, as i am about being authentic, honest kind and a 100% good nice honest kind person. Bullying and blackmailing me will get you no where. I do send endless love, light and twinkles to these two decitful people who gained much JOY out of attempting to discredit me and bullying me for 3 months. I could easily remove advertising on this site, but i have nothing to FEAR as Sea Angel is adorable, lovely and clean.

"Unpleasant accommodation - Sea Angel / Ramblers Beach Chalet, E22 Riviere Towans, Phillack, Hayle, Cornwall"
We paid £1,300 to book 14 nights in this chalet (£93.00 per night!). We arrived to find it in a filthy state – thick dust, hairs and sticky grime everywhere. There was faecal matter under the toilet seat, urine around the base of the toilet, and mould in the shower (see photos).
It was also in a state of disrepair (see photos) – the water heater in the kitchen and extractor fan in the bathroom were broken, the water heater in the bathroom was leaking water over the floor, the valence was hanging off the bed, and the outside bench was falling apart.
We spoke to chalet park staff who were kind and helpful (they even loaned us a pair of pliers to try to get hot water), but they explained there was nothing they or we could do as the chalet is privately owned and the owner was overseas. We chose to leave and contacted the owner by email to describe the state of the chalet and request a refund. After considerable communication, we received a refund of £550 of the £1,300 we paid.
This is the first time we have ever felt the need to write a negative review of anything, let alone holiday accommodation – we have taken many holidays in Cornwall and always had wonderful experiences. Unfortunately we do not recommend this accommodation.
