"A fabulous location for a Christmas holiday"
A fabulous property which accommodated our party of 8 adults over Christmas. Superbly appointed and very comfortable. It was a shame to leave after our 4 night stay! I would definitely return again.

"An extremely comfortable, well-equipped property in a quiet location."
We were very impressed with this property. It is a well-equipped, comfortable holiday home in a quiet location with views across open countryside and ideally situated for visiting the popular resorts of Rock, Padstow and Port Isaac. It is especially suitable for two families sharing with comfortable beds to sleep four downstairs and four upstairs. The owners have, thoughtfully, provided a good selection of books and games in case the weather is not too good. We hope to return for another stay in the not too distant future.

"A lovely holiday home in an idyllic location!"
From the initial booking through to the actual holiday the service we received was excellent. The house is clean, modern and tastefully decorated. It has everything you could possibly want and need. We even received a personal visit from the caretaker on our first night to check that everything was to our satisfaction. Being regular visitors to Cornwall the best bit for us was the location with Rock, Wadebridge, Padstow and Polzaeth only a short drive away. We usually spend hours in the car visiting places but found everything we needed virtually on the doorstep; fresh pastries from the bakery each morning, glorious beaches throughout the day and BBQ meats at the butchers on the way home! The weather was fabulous which obviously added to our enjoyment of this fantastic cottage.

"A luxurious base for exploring Cornwall"
We were so please with our home for the weekend. It was clean, comfortable and spacious, and a great place to rest after trips to Padstow, Rock and various beaches.
We were really fortunate with the weather so we could sit out on the patio and utilise the barbecue.
It was perfect for staying with friends as we didn't feel cramped and didn't need to queue for a shower in the morning!!
I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to friends.

"Best equipped holiday rental to date"
Rocksalt is a lovely and very comfortable property and because its owners obviously spend a lot of time here themselves, the house is very well and thoughtfully equipped (eg the knives in the kitchen were actually sharp and there was a knife sharpener as well). We found the location of Rocksalt ideal for visiting the places we wanted to see eg Lanhydrock House, Eden Project, Trebah Gardens, Boscastle, Port Isaac, Padstow and more. Our weather was very mixed but we had a great holiday anyway. We would definitely consider coming back to Rocksalt - and I think that says it all.

For a long weekend destintination with extended family , RockSalt proved ideal for location and better than expected for facilities. Being spacious and to a 'high spec' in quiet surroundings , I would strongly recomend RockSalt and would indeed re-visit.

Returning to RockSalt for the third time we knew what to expect, spacious accommodation, great location and a place where you can immediately feel at home. We had stayed at the house with family twice before (my nephews want to go back EVERY year) and this was our first trip with a group of friends. They loved the house as soon as they arrived and settled in straight away.
It is superbly located in this very popular area of North Cornwall and provided a great base to visit Rock, Polzeath, Padstow, Daymer Bay, Port Isaac (home of ITV's Doc Martin), St. Ives and more. Close to local amenities in Rock and Polzeath and with supermarket shopping at Wadebridge (Tesco) less than 10 minutes away this is a superb spot to base your holiday in Cornwall.
We arrived at the end of October and stayed until Bonfire Night, the weather was kind and the surf big, so we were at the beach everyday and did as much as we would have wanted to in a summer holiday. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were keen to go back - in fact some of our friends have already booked to take their families in the spring!
I would not hesitate to recommend this holiday rental - excellent.

"Stylish, very well equipped house in quiet location"
This is a spacious and well-laid out holiday home with lovely views.
We very much liked the location, which was convenient to many lovely areas on the north Cornwall coast. You need a car to get anywhere but we were well aware of this on booking.
