This townhouse-type property provided a perfect place for two Canadian couples to bed down. Very pleased with the quality of the beds and bedding. Very clean. Very quiet. Great location - 20 minute walk to downtown Chester, easy access to roads leading to all parts of England. Excellent location if you want to make one place your home and travel daily to visit other places (Liverpool, Stoke-on-Trent, Warrington, Manchester, Wales, etc). There was nothing we needed other than what was provided (the drawers were literally little treasure chests!). Lots of parking space for our car. Nice neighborhood - absolutely no problem walking around at night. Also impressed with the number of child-friendly items on hand. Highly recommend! |

We stayed in the cottage during July with our two sons. All the rooms in the cottage were clean and well equipped, in addition to the items you would expect to be provided with there were also board games and a selection of books and DVD's for guests to make use of. We barely used our car during our stay as the cottage is within easy walking distance of Chester. Close to the cottage there are a number of small shops and eating places with a wider variety of restaurants in Chester. Chester is a delight, there are so many things to do and places to see. We spent a very pleasant afternoon next to the river watching the world go by after walking around the city walls. I'd love to visit Chester again and I would happily stay in this cottage if/when we return. |
