“Lovely week in Callander” This is a very nice ground-floor flat down a quiet cul-de-sac 5 minutes walk from the main street. We enjoyed our stay very much, it’s an excellent base from which to explore the Trossachs and wider afield. We have visited this area many times but have never stayed in Callander before. I would thoroughly recommend it. The second hand book shop is amazing and a potential drain on the wallet. The accommodation was perfect for us and 2 grandchildren. We plan to go back next year.

About Callander
Often called the 'Gateway to the Highlands', Callander lies immediately south of the Highland Boundary Fault, and has some stunning sights. From the Loch all the way up to the top of Ben A'an, there are miles of stunning Scottish countryside everywhere you turn. And there's no shortage of exciting places to go walking, with most routes being reasonably easy. Callander is also the burial place of Scottish folk hero Rob Roy.
