“Wonderful stay with friends - couldn't ask for anything more!” Together with friends we had a wonderful stay at The Ark. The house is lovely and has everything you could think of needing inside - the owners were also really helpful answering any questions we had before our stay and ensuring we had their number to phone if needed throughout the weekend. Honestly could not recommend The Ark enough, the hamper was also a wonderful touch and appreciated by all guests. We will definitely be booking again!

“EXCELLENT FEW DAYS BREAK IN RYE” Sally B provided us with a very comfortable and charming apartment set in a period cottage and is a perfect location for all amenities the ancient town of Rye has to offer.There are many interesting sites to visit in and around Rye and eating out or take away restaurants are well catered for and within easy walking distance which made the Quarter House a perfect base for our stay. If we visit Rye in the future this will be our preferred accommodation..

“Beautifully appointed and cosy sea-view cottage” Fabulously warm and cosy cottage in an ideal location for touring/walking with stunning sea views from upstairs and down. Tastefully decorated throughout with very comfortable furniture and beds - a real home-from-home. The accommodation was very clean, inviting and well-stocked for everything you might need... there was even free wifi and Netflix! Would definitely recommend and would happily visit again.

“Fabulous location” Had a fabulous long weekend at the Piazza. The house is extremely clean and well appointed. Quality of crockery, bedding etc all very good. Some lovely touches throughout. Superb location with easy access to Eastbourne and surrounding area. Loved being by the water watching the boats and close to some good restaurants. Beds very comfortable. We have hired a lot of houses over the years and this certainly is one of the best we have stayed in.

“Perfect getaway, children loved helping around the farm” The barn is in a beautiful setting. The farm is home to some of the most charming animals we have ever met. My children (aged 9 and 11) truly enjoyed meeting up with Madeleine each morning and evening for feeding and learned so much about animal husbandry from her. Madeleine is a treasure who made the trip for my daughter whilst my son explored the nearby trails and woods. The cottage was comfortable and we all really enjoyed our stay.

“Eastbourne stay” Lovely place, clean, comfortable beds, two good sized bathrooms,plenty of space inside and out, and a small welcome box of necessities was left on arrival. This was a few days away with friends and we all thourghly enjoyed.

“A hidden gem” A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Paul and the team have really thought through all the small touches and we were very impressed when we arrived to find everything from dishwasher tablets to a baby bottle sterilizer! They had even thought of small touches and supplied us bread, milk and butter upon arrival. The house is very tastefully designed. The beds are super comfy and there is lots of storage space. We lucked out on the weather and so we had a great day on the beach (which wasn't busy i might add!) it was just a perfect weekend. The only thing to note is that there is a very steep iron, spiral staircase to get up to the main rooms from downstairs - just watch out with clumsy people and little ones.

“Brilliant Base for Brighton” Great location just outside of central Brighton. Only 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop and train station. The place itself is amazing. Everything in it is practically brand new. The rooms are very nice and well furnished. Kitchen was well supplied and beds were very comfortable even the fold out sofa.

“Peaceful” Though it was stormy outside, the house is quiet and cosy, and watching the wildish weather from the front conservatory in the warm was quite a winter treat. Accommodation is very good, and position for Brighton and surrounds perfect. We love a sea view and that is exactly what you get. There are immediate walks outside the front gate, and there are also the promenade walks a very short distance to and beneath the chalk cliffs. Don't know if this is the norm, but we had a warm and personal welcome from Geraldine on arrival - whatever, the accommodation itself and position provide all you will need for a great break.

“Fantastic flat, quiet, beautifully appointed and close to Brighton” Spent 3 nights here with fiance and parents. Quiet, spacious, spotlessly clean with everything we needed for a great stay. Really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and large lounge/dining/kitchen. 30 minutes pleasant walk into Brighton and also v close to bus and train. Great communication and information from our hosts, who were incredibly accommodating - couldn't fault it or them.

“Very comfortable, felt very relaxed.” We had a lovely stay. Very comfortable cottage, had everything we needed. We had a lovely meal at Khan'z indian restaurant. The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Would highly recommend Beach retreat cottage.

“Lovely house, Great Location and excellent value for money.” This is a real find - so close to the dunes and beach and really designed and set out with families in mind. On arrival we found the house to be clean and tidy, with a surprise few basics (a fresh loaf of bread, biscuits tea and jam) which we tucked into straight away. The house is modern design, beautifully light and airy with plenty of space for kids to play. Showers (3 of them!) were powerful and plenty of hot water for my family of 5. Good quality TVs in each room and good wifi reception throughout. Table tennis in the playroom was a real bonus on the one wet day we had - kids played for hours!! We tried some of the recommendations and all were pretty good, although Rye Bay Cafe service is a bit slow (but very friendly)...

“WOW, when can we come back?” We (myself, husband, mum-in-law, two children under 5 and golden retriever) stayed here for a week and loved it. The cottage has lots of character and is very well equipped, child friendly and well looked after. Mike and Terri were lovely and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. There are great walks for the dog. We'd love to stay here again.
