“Beautiful house....the pictures do not do it justice!” We stayed at Peacehaven Palace for my sisters Hen Weekend and the house was amazing!! Beautifully decorated, clean, well equipped and an ideal base to venture into Brighton! We had amazing weather for our stay which topped it! The garden is perfect for lapping up the sunshine!! The kitchen, dining and living areas are perfect for large groups for socialising, and there is plenty of space! The bedrooms are nicely decorated and beds very comfortable! Anna was brilliant throughout my enquiries about the house and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Many of the hens have said they would consider Peacehaven Palace in the future if they ever needed somewhere to stay which accomodates large groups!! Thanks for making our wonderful weekend away!!

Holiday home in Rottingdean

Rottingdean house

“Just perfect for our extended family holiday” Jill and Ben are excellent hosts and they made us feel most welcome in their home. The 'goodies' in the fridge - especially the Cava - were much appreciated after our journey. Broomfield House met our needs perfectly. The kitchen is well equipped; the long table was great for family meals, playing board games and colouring in books. It was also a real bonus to have two comfortable lounges, both with TVs. We were lucky with the weather so could make full use of the lovely garden: it was an ideal playing area for our grandchildren and for barbecues. The house is well situated. There is a very good bus service and we used it for hops into Rottingdean, Brighton and Seaford. We enjoyed an excellent curry from the takeaway at the end of the road. Sunday lunch, on the decking overlooking the sea, at the Smuggler's Rest was the perfect end to our holiday. 10/10 at the very least!

“Amazing stay in this fantastic Brighton House!” I stayed at mybrightonpad with a group of 7 other ladies celebrating my sister's hen weekend. We were all very excited about the house as the online pictures looked great, but we were blown away by how nice it was when we arrived. The location is also fantastic, a short (10 minute) walk to pier, bars and the beach. We mainly used the kitchen for all our socialising; it is a fantastic space. Mike was helpful throughout the booking process and the staggered payments helped spread the cost for all those coming. The one slight negative is that there is no outside space, but with the seafront moments away, this didn't worry us. If I could suggest a small improvement, I would also ask for teacups and champagne flutes to be available in the property (there are mugs and wine glasses!). We arranged an afternoon tea on arrival and I brought along my own teacups and flutes for this :-) I highly recommend mybrightonpad; if you are looking for something extra special, this is it!

“An Amazing Place in an Excellent Location; Highly Recommended” This lovely apartment is in a fantastic location, central for exploring all of Brighton's must-see places. The beach is literally across the road, the pier is a short walk away, the Lanes, North Laines and the Royal Pavilion are again just a short meander away. The marina is not too far, but if you want to hop on a bus or try the Volks electric train, then it just adds to the fun. Despite it's central location, the apartment was very quiet and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend this apartment and the owner was very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for a wonderful stay in Brighton. Wendy & Phil, Swansea.

“The best holiday apartment I've ever been” We spent a week in this amazing flat. As I mentioned above I have never seen spent my holiday in such a well-decorating, spotless apartment. The owners cared about every single details such as washing powder (even for children), wipes, cotton wool, puzzles, a great variety of plates and cutlery, spices. They welcomed us with flowers, good tea, coffee and biscuits. We travelled with a little baby, so they gave us a baby cot, a high chair and even a blender. Apart form that the apartment presents a simple but very pretty style. It's cosy indoor. We would love to come back there some time. P.S. We felt ther as it would have been our home.

“Most enjoyable” The Promenade was everything that the pictures showed. It was well equiped for a family stay in comfort. A home from home with excellent sea views, things to see and do and good shops only a short walk away, with the added bonus of weather as good as it gets. Who could ask for more, when you can sit out well into the evening on the patio to make the most of a lovely place.

“Perfectly presented and great location for a getaway” The Beach Hut apartment was beautifully maintained and really well equipped for our stay. Most things that we needed during the weekend were available to us and Fiona had also kindly provided a nice bottle of fizz; flowers and tea and coffee - all of which were greatly appreciated. It provided a great base for us to explore and although it is in Hove rather than Brighton, the bus and taxi links into Brighton were regular and cheap. There were 8 of us staying - the 2 main bedrooms were well equipped, although the day bed mattress was a little thing for one of the group and not having any curtains in the lounge made it difficult to get a good night's sleep for those on an otherwise gorgeously comfortable sofa bed so I would recommend an eye patch. The 2 bathrooms were lovely (important for 8 girls) and the kitchen was really modern and well equipped. Overall, we all loved this apartment and would definitely stay here again. Fiona was really helpful and flexible and made us feel very welcome.

“Excellent apartment, excellent location.” An excellent stay at the Portland place apartment from start to finish. Out of hours key pick up was simple, parking (using pre-purchased vouchers) was easy and the sea front was at the bottom of the street. The town centre is within easy walking distance and there are excellent cafe's/shops/restaurants on St Georges Rd ( the road at the top of Portland Place)...as I said, an excellent location! The apartment itself was really clean/comfortable and very well appointed. The large windows make the place really bright and our kids loved the balcony! I would definitely recommend this place. We will return next Easter!

“A magical weekend away!” Classic style with a modern twist, [--] is probably the coolest place we've stayed. Great location, right on the seafront and perfect for us as my wife and I were both doing the marathon. Olivia's customer service is excellent, nothing was too much trouble and she made sure we had everything we needed for our 6 month old son. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

Brighton and Hove holidays

Creative and colourful Brighton is a seaside staple for many UK holidaymakers. This is no surprise: the shingle beach, amazing restaurants, quirky shops and cutting-edge art scene are just a few of the reasons why Brighton has an enduring appeal. From self-catering apartments to luxury penthouse pads, Brighton's holiday rental accommodation is as diverse and wonderful as the seaside city itself.

Brighton - A city of culture

With its extraordinary exhibitions and experimental music, Brighton's art scene knows how to push the boundaries. To listen to some locally grown live music, head to the Prince Albert and the Green Door Store - just two of the many venues hosting performances from poets, musicians and more.

A holiday in Brighton isn't complete without a stroll along the iconic Victorian pier where you'll find thrilling fun fair rides, cute cafés and delicious fish and chips. For more Victorian splendor, visit the Royal Pavilion. This extravagant seaside home was built for the Prince Regent (later to be King George IV). The oriental-style onion domes are breathtaking and the colourful banqueting room is a thing of beauty.

In need of a little retail therapy? The independents in The Lanes, North Laine and London Road are fantastic so you'll have no problem in finding something special to party in after the sun goes down. And as Brighton has some of the best nightclubs in the country, you'll get plenty of wear out of your new togs.

Festival fun

Throughout the year, Brighton hosts many festivals from food to music so there's never a dull moment. Highlights of the festival calendar include Brighton Festival, the Brighton Fringe, The Great Escape, Paddle Round the Pier and Brighton Pride. Music, dancing, great food and great fun are the order of the day in Brighton.

Fantastic basement flat, great location and spotlessly clean.

A great 2 bedroom basement flat close to the station (Preston Park) and Preston Park itself. Five minutes walk (if that) to the nearest bus stop that takes you down to Brighton. The flat itself is spotlessly clean and well maintained with plenty of facilites and thoughtful touches included by the owner. The beds are really comfy and the bedding and towels lovely and soft. The kitchen has lots of equipment not just the standard plates and a pan, so the option of dining at home rather than out every night is a major benefit especially with small children. The two bedrooms are tastefully decorated and there is plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. The main bedroom has a very large bed which is really comfortable and also a single sofa bed which my 6 year old enjoyed sleeping on. The only recommendation would be to take along an eyemask as the curtains are light so we did wake up early every morning when it started to get light. There is also a washing machine, ironing board and hoover in the flat and a lovely large rainfall shower with plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Outside there is a small decking area which overlooks the upstairs flat's garden with a patio table and 4 chairs which we enjoyed eating breakfast on. The owners live close by and the communication from Julie was great, checking that we had settled in and if we required anything. Overall a lovely little find that we really enjoyed staying in during our visit to Brighton.see more

Wonderful relaxing time

Spent the May Bank Holiday week here. It was magic the weather was great and the house amazing. Everything is brand new and it is ideally situated. Great for the beach , we went to eat in the Lanes and the next night to a restaurant in 'Hove Actually'. Mary was very welcoming and recommended a lovely eatery in Poynings for our last day. Thank you ,for a memorable and relaxing week end . Highly recomendsee more

Superb apartment in excellent location equipped to a very high standard

We had a wonderful holiday in this apartment. The booking process was seamless and the communication with Renny, the owner was outstanding. The location was perfect with easy access to the sea front, town centre and all the bars and restaurants. The accommodation was amazing in terms of cleanliness, security and it was so well equipped that we lacked for nothing.
