“Lovely place” Sam’s place is exactly as it looks in the pictures although we couldn’t enjoy the garden as it was very cold. Sam will welcome you and make you feel at home. We’ll come back for sure soon.

    Treetops
Superbly quirky romantic hideaway in a delightful garden in the heart of the bucolic Sussex countryside.

We were enchanted by this place; essentially an attic conversion over a double garage, superbly executed, with the kitchen and bathroom at ground floor, and a spiral stair taking you to the living and sleeping accommodation at first floor. Then, French doors lead from the first floor out onto a balcony, amazingly literally built around an old horse chestnut tree (hence 'Treetops'). It had great charm and character, was delightfully designed and decorated, and surprisingly spacious. And set in a lovely garden, much treasured by the owner Sam, with panoramic views over the bucolic countryside of West Sussex. Peace and tranquillity prevail. The ultimate romantic hideaway. We long to return, especially as our brief visit was curtailed by the need to dash across country to my partner's daughter who'd been suddenly rushed into hospital in Exeter. see more
