“Wonderful stay with friends - couldn't ask for anything more!” Together with friends we had a wonderful stay at The Ark. The house is lovely and has everything you could think of needing inside - the owners were also really helpful answering any questions we had before our stay and ensuring we had their number to phone if needed throughout the weekend. Honestly could not recommend The Ark enough, the hamper was also a wonderful touch and appreciated by all guests. We will definitely be booking again!

“Excellent Apartment” Just finished one weeks holiday at this apartment, the flat was excellent, lovely and clean, and the local shops and beach were about 10 mins waik .Michael and Olwyn were very friendly welcoming us when we arrived, and i wiil certainly stay here again and have no hesitation recomending this flat to anyone.Thanks again Mike & Olwyn for having a great flat it made our stay more enjoyable Cheers, Hugh & Lillian.

“EXCELLENT FEW DAYS BREAK IN RYE” Sally B provided us with a very comfortable and charming apartment set in a period cottage and is a perfect location for all amenities the ancient town of Rye has to offer.There are many interesting sites to visit in and around Rye and eating out or take away restaurants are well catered for and within easy walking distance which made the Quarter House a perfect base for our stay. If we visit Rye in the future this will be our preferred accommodation..

“Comfortable Chalet” We spent eleven days in the chalet and enjoyed our stay very much. In the chalet there is everything you need for a good break in high standard (e.g. the toaster is excellent). The furnishing is functional and comfortable. We had quite enough space, even though we are five persons with a dog. The chalet is located in a quiet area of the holiday park. There is a big meadow in front of the chalet which is ideal for children and dogs. There’s also a table and benches on the terrace for picnicking and relaxing in the green. In addition there are no stairs. The parking spot in direct proximity to the chalet adds to the comfort. The beach as well as the amusement centre is close, and so are the restaurants and the shops. Everything is easily available by foot. We think amusement passes are not expensive, but we didn’t need them anyway. We spent our time at the beach and on trips exploring the surrounding area. We would like to say Thank You to Jane very much. She offered good advices for our holidays in Camber Sands and was so helpful in order to give us a really pleasant stay in her chalet.

“Great stay!” Easy booking and great contact from the owner. The caravan has everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay. We stayed 2 nights with our 2 dogs and we all had a fantastic time and enjoyed the beach which is only a few minutes walk away. We will definitely be back for another stay. Thank you

“Beautifully appointed and cosy sea-view cottage” Fabulously warm and cosy cottage in an ideal location for touring/walking with stunning sea views from upstairs and down. Tastefully decorated throughout with very comfortable furniture and beds - a real home-from-home. The accommodation was very clean, inviting and well-stocked for everything you might need... there was even free wifi and Netflix! Would definitely recommend and would happily visit again.

“Fabulous location” Had a fabulous long weekend at the Piazza. The house is extremely clean and well appointed. Quality of crockery, bedding etc all very good. Some lovely touches throughout. Superb location with easy access to Eastbourne and surrounding area. Loved being by the water watching the boats and close to some good restaurants. Beds very comfortable. We have hired a lot of houses over the years and this certainly is one of the best we have stayed in.

“Tranquil flat right by the sea” It’s our second trip to Gull’s View and we enjoyed it very much both times. Excellent location right next to the beach at the St Leonard’s end of Hastings and though the road noise is pretty constant it’s still very calm in the flat. The light and view in the front room is worth the booking alone, but flat is very clean and well appointed - it has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Recommend watching the sun go down drinking wine at Goat Ledge in the evenings or their fried fish bap for lunch. If you’re vegan, tons to suit you in Hastings George St including Sham City Roasters, an adorable hideaway selling excellent vegan cake and lunches, as well as lovely traditional bakery in St Leonard’s opposite the Co-Op. we ate excellent pizza at Forte’s a few doors from the flat and the fish and chips were really good from the place next door. Would definitely visit again.

“Excellently equipped with every eventuality considered!” Three mums with three young boys and a baby were all beautifully catered for during a short half term stay at Mike and Jane's just recently! The house was fully equipped with nothing left out! The information in the advertisement is spot on, however the smaller details which have been well thought out and show consideration for guests' requirements make a difference and cannot be underestimated - such as a hair dryer, iron, cafetiere, to mention a few... you really want for nothing in this house! Perfectly and conveniently located minutes from the beach, small town of Pevensey with a decent selection of local shops and bus stop in either direction for Eastbourne or Hastings/Rye. The house is simply but most tastefully decorated and is clearly a home well looked after and maintained with care. We would certainly love to return in warmer weather to make the most of the conservatory and garden area!

“Perfect position on the beach.” Had a great week in this house.Lots of room and two bathrooms which was great for our two couples.The house was perfect for sea fishing and despite the awful weather a great time was had by all including our dog. “A hidden gem” A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Paul and the team have really thought through all the small touches and we were very impressed when we arrived to find everything from dishwasher tablets to a baby bottle sterilizer! They had even thought of small touches and supplied us bread, milk and butter upon arrival. The house is very tastefully designed. The beds are super comfy and there is lots of storage space. We lucked out on the weather and so we had a great day on the beach (which wasn't busy i might add!) it was just a perfect weekend. The only thing to note is that there is a very steep iron, spiral staircase to get up to the main rooms from downstairs - just watch out with clumsy people and little ones.

“Heaven” I already fell in love with the apartment at Embassy Court when I saw the photos for the first time. After booking it I could hardly wait to get there. Often, when expectations are that high, you're going to be disappointed. Not so in this case. Everything was even better than expected. When I entered the apartment I was surrounded by light and brightness (I was really lucky with the weather!), and I immediately felt welcome and at home. I felt like this every single time I opened the door to the apartment, and I was looking forward to going "home" every day of my two-week stay. At this point I should perhaps mention that Brighton and Hove have so much to offer that you could stay there for weeks without wishing to get back inside. But Embassy Court is situated in the perfect spot, right between Brighton and Hove, and convenient to walk to every place you could imagine. Great restaurants, cafès, shops and supermarkets are literally just around the corner, as are bus stops and of course the beach! When you stay at Embassy Court you can enjoy the busy life in a great city and yet, within a minute, you can be up in heaven, in a peaceful and quiet apartment at eye level with the seagulls. The bathroom and kitchen are much bigger than you expect from the photos and extremely well equipped. Everything is new and shiny and spotlessly clean, and the whole apartment is very tastefully furnished. Sheets and towels are provided, and as I was staying for two weeks I was even offered a fresh set of towels for the second week. And the bed was very, very comfortable! The giant flatscreen TV is much better than the one we have at home and allows you to watch hundreds of channels. Theoretically, because in practice you will only want to look outside and enjoy the amazing sea view! By the way, most reviews forget to mention that there is also a fabulous view over Brighton and Hove from the rear! What also made staying at this apartment such a joy was the fact that the whole booking, arriving and checking-in-process was so simple, and dealing with the owner, Olivia, was always a pleasure. She responds to every question you might have within hours or even minutes and is extremely friendly. The same is true for Haley who greeted me on arrival and showed me around. Thank you both very much! I could go on for hours praising the apartment, but who wants to read such long reviews? There is only one last thing I would like to point out: the apartment is also heaven for everybody who is interested in modern architecture. Embassy Court is a landmark of Modernist architecture which has been restored to its original beauty only recently. It's a joy just to walk through the gorgeous entrance door, and if you let yourself in for it, a stay at Embassy Court can even take you back in time. Heaven indeed!

“Brilliant Base for Brighton” Great location just outside of central Brighton. Only 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop and train station. The place itself is amazing. Everything in it is practically brand new. The rooms are very nice and well furnished. Kitchen was well supplied and beds were very comfortable even the fold out sofa.
