“Wonderful stay with friends - couldn't ask for anything more!” Together with friends we had a wonderful stay at The Ark. The house is lovely and has everything you could think of needing inside - the owners were also really helpful answering any questions we had before our stay and ensuring we had their number to phone if needed throughout the weekend. Honestly could not recommend The Ark enough, the hamper was also a wonderful touch and appreciated by all guests. We will definitely be booking again!

“EXCELLENT FEW DAYS BREAK IN RYE” Sally B provided us with a very comfortable and charming apartment set in a period cottage and is a perfect location for all amenities the ancient town of Rye has to offer.There are many interesting sites to visit in and around Rye and eating out or take away restaurants are well catered for and within easy walking distance which made the Quarter House a perfect base for our stay. If we visit Rye in the future this will be our preferred accommodation..

“Excellently equipped with every eventuality considered!” Three mums with three young boys and a baby were all beautifully catered for during a short half term stay at Mike and Jane's just recently! The house was fully equipped with nothing left out! The information in the advertisement is spot on, however the smaller details which have been well thought out and show consideration for guests' requirements make a difference and cannot be underestimated - such as a hair dryer, iron, cafetiere, to mention a few... you really want for nothing in this house! Perfectly and conveniently located minutes from the beach, small town of Pevensey with a decent selection of local shops and bus stop in either direction for Eastbourne or Hastings/Rye. The house is simply but most tastefully decorated and is clearly a home well looked after and maintained with care. We would certainly love to return in warmer weather to make the most of the conservatory and garden area!

“Perfect getaway, children loved helping around the farm” The barn is in a beautiful setting. The farm is home to some of the most charming animals we have ever met. My children (aged 9 and 11) truly enjoyed meeting up with Madeleine each morning and evening for feeding and learned so much about animal husbandry from her. Madeleine is a treasure who made the trip for my daughter whilst my son explored the nearby trails and woods. The cottage was comfortable and we all really enjoyed our stay.

“A hidden gem” A beautiful house in a wonderful location. Paul and the team have really thought through all the small touches and we were very impressed when we arrived to find everything from dishwasher tablets to a baby bottle sterilizer! They had even thought of small touches and supplied us bread, milk and butter upon arrival. The house is very tastefully designed. The beds are super comfy and there is lots of storage space. We lucked out on the weather and so we had a great day on the beach (which wasn't busy i might add!) it was just a perfect weekend. The only thing to note is that there is a very steep iron, spiral staircase to get up to the main rooms from downstairs - just watch out with clumsy people and little ones.

“Brilliant Base for Brighton” Great location just outside of central Brighton. Only 5 mins walk to the nearest bus stop and train station. The place itself is amazing. Everything in it is practically brand new. The rooms are very nice and well furnished. Kitchen was well supplied and beds were very comfortable even the fold out sofa.

“Lovely house, Great Location and excellent value for money.” This is a real find - so close to the dunes and beach and really designed and set out with families in mind. On arrival we found the house to be clean and tidy, with a surprise few basics (a fresh loaf of bread, biscuits tea and jam) which we tucked into straight away. The house is modern design, beautifully light and airy with plenty of space for kids to play. Showers (3 of them!) were powerful and plenty of hot water for my family of 5. Good quality TVs in each room and good wifi reception throughout. Table tennis in the playroom was a real bonus on the one wet day we had - kids played for hours!! We tried some of the recommendations and all were pretty good, although Rye Bay Cafe service is a bit slow (but very friendly)...

“A perfect start to 2013” Visited with my girlfriend at the start of January. Absolutely top-notch accomodation in a beautiful location, with the added bonus of a pool and hot-tub! The owners were very friendly and welcoming and provided a wealth of local information. Perfect spot for getting out into the countryside and away from the stress of the city. We will be back in warmer weather!

“A very happy family holiday” We were so delighted by our stay at Stowaway cottage, on the beach at Camber Sands. In these challenging times it was extremely relaxing and wonderful to have our own bit of beach for the children to play on. The house was spotlessly clean and there were lots of extra little things that really made the holiday, such as the great supply of games, extra seaside bits and bobs and a great book shelf. We hope to return next year.

“Great home in Brighton !” This is a really lovely house in a very central location. We comfortably had 14 adults staying with plenty of space and beds for everyone. We stayed in the house over Christmas so we made great use of the fantastic kitchen. We cooked a huge Christmas dinner. The kitchen is well equipped for this with a fantastic large square table that seated all of us and a great oven. I totally recommend this house as a very comfortable place to stay. It has great decor and was cosy and warm with an endless supply of hot water. Parking is on the street and it can be difficult to get a park next to the house however there is plenty of free parking in close streets near by.
