“Wow! What a house” When we walked through the door of this beautiful house we were amazed. It is huge yet cozy with the wonderful log burner in the lounge, the kitchen and dining areas are just gorgeous and there was plenty of room for 18 of us to be together to eat and play games. The views are incredible both day and night and having such a gorgeous beach on the doorstep for the dogs was perfect. The garden with BBQ hut and hot tub made it the perfect venue for the weekend. Thank you Jane as the process from booking to leaving was first class. We will be back.
“Quirky, fun, comfortable and welcoming” Unusual, quirky, fun and comfortable. Certainly larger inside than you would suspect from the outside. This is Brian's home from home and it shows from the welcome homely touches. It is certainly not your typical sterile and bland or old and tired holiday let. Brian was on site to welcome us on arrival and show us around and the wine was very well received. Weather was the best we have had for 20 years. Furnished wiith 3 large bedrooms so all 3 adults in the party could have their own bedroom without anyone having to put up with the box room. Thanks Brian for giving us the opportunity to stay at Friars.
What a fab little cottage! Right up our street. Everything you could need and more. Brian was a great host, very approachable and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay here. A lovely location, with a beautiful little beach up the lane. A great base to visit anywhere in Anglesey. …
Y Glenydd: Hot tub at Luxury detached Bungalow near Trearddur Bay enclosed gdn
Family and pet friendly, great location.
We had a great stay thoroughly enjoyed by all our party. It was close to family and all the attractions of Anglesey. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped, with WIFI, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The beds are comfortable, would have liked firmer pillows but that's personal taste. No doubt the highlight of the stay was the hot tub must get one if we win the lottery, lol, so relaxing. Diolch Yn fawr to the owners, we would love to stay again. …
Trefonen House, Beachfront with hot tub and BBQ Hut
Gem of the Valley
This is a very well equipped house with superb views all round.
First, hidden away but yet easy to find. Rural but yet convenient with shops just 15 min drive away.
Charateristic is not how I would describe it but it has all you need for a weekend get away. Total of 17 of us, 8 kids and 9 adults. The kids had a great playground, trampoline and a football goal. They can entertain themselves.
For the dads, we had a man cave, aka bbq house. We had a fire, we bbq-ed and we drank.
For the mums, hot tub.
The beach is literally a stone throw away, its own gate to get to it.
I cannot think of any negatives at all. We didnt need to get anything apart from food, drinks and wood.
The master bedroom was amazing with its own lounge bit and sofa.
As holiday house/cottage go, you dont get better than this, and we have been to quite a few. We book every year as a group to go away.
Bearing in mind, we were here for one of the wettest and windiest weekend and it was still good.
A few suggestions which I will feedback if you‘d like them. Small things, nothing negative. …
Swn y Mor
We spent a lovely week in this spacious property with it's fantastic views over the inland sea. The bungalow is very comfortable, and most conveniently situated for shopping and visiting other stunning places like Trearddur Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to birdwatch from the conservatory, with great views of Brent geese and redshanks among others, especially diving mergansers. We will be visiting this place again. …
