Holiday log cabin in Llanddeusant

Llanddeusant log cabin

2 bedrooms • 1 bathroom • sleeps 4

“Fantastic weeekend” We booked this as one of all 3 cabins we booked for the weekend of my partners 40th birthday. The cabins themselves were fantastic, clean and had everything we needed from a modern kitchen to a convenient set up to transform into 6 beds when it was bed time. The children in particular loved the adventure of sleeping in the top area of the cabin. We were so fortunate that all 3 were available to accommodate 16 of us with the paddock itself a perfect size for fun and games with the kids during the day. The barbecues provided were all a superb addition as well as we used all 3 in the Saturday night. A great location too, Anglesey is beautiful, the cabins are quite far from the rest of civilisation though but that suited us down to the ground and it was only a 20 minute drive to get to Penrhos beach where we enjoyed a great walk before we came home. Lastly a special mention to the owners who I had to contact due to one of our party leaving behind quite a special bracelet and Robert and Diana have very kindly found and posted it back to me today. I would definitely recommend and will most certainly be booking again in the future. Thanks again for a great stay.

“Fabulous Stay!” Had a great weekend staying at Felin Farm Dairy. Everything you could ask for, and a great base for exploring beautiful Anglesey. Accommodation is very well equipped, warm and comfortable. Debbi and Brian even let us arrive earlier than the specified time, and the Dairy has lots of books, magazines, tourist information and even a handy map to help us plan when out and about! Thanks for a memorable weekend.

“Perfect pet friendly home from home” We booked for Easter but cancelled due to Coronavirus we were able to cancel and rebook our holiday in August. The house is amazing, plenty of space, immaculately clean, just what was needed at this time, peace of mind. Location brilliant, comfy house, plenty of areas to sit, children spent the holiday in the ‘snug’ great utility and outside tap for rinsing beach off children. The owner Wil extremely helpful, children loved it as did we, wishing it wasn’t booked October half term, but will be booking again 2021.

“A great place to discover Anglesey.” The cowshed was a great place to stay with my family and parents who were visiting from Spain. It's a lovely house perfectly located to discover beautiful Anglesey! Debby and Brian have done a great job with the cottage which is comfortable, spacious and clean and has everything you need for a short holiday. The enclosed garden at the back is a real suntrap and perfect for my two little boys. The fresh eggs on arrival was a lovely touch! We all had a brilliant time and we'll definitely be back. Thank you!

“A Pleasant Holiday” A nice clean comfortable and spacious bungalow with all the equipment one needs. However the bathroom is not suitable for someone with mobility problems or uses a wheelchair. There is easy access to the beach and local facilities including a Great fish and chip shop. Angelsey is a beautiful island and Rhosneigr is a good base as all places on the island are within easy reach.

“Great Location” Stayed here with my family of 6. Great place.location was excellent. Handy to have condiments etc in the kitchen. Beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. Would give 5 stars if the sitting room was better furnished. We felt that it was inadequate for 6 people to sit comfortably. Otherwise it was a lovely house and I would definitely recommend it

“Beautiful, homely cottage, well equiped with stunning views of the Snowdon range.” Another visit to Ty Adeiladwr Cwch - this time with our family. The cottage is lovely, well equipped, very clean and spacious. Two lounges gave us the opportunity to have our own space and the laundry was handy with young children. Enjoy cooking and love the "range" and island unit . Great walking on the nearby Anglesey coastal path. Most of all love sitting in the garden with a glass of wine looking at the mountains. Very peaceful. The local beach was also good for fishing (need more practice!). A great holiday. Do have a cream tea at the end of Bangor Pier.

“Excellent location, nice village” The house was clean and appeared as shown in the picture - not always the case! Excellent location for exploring, chippy very close - massive portions! Garden needs some TLC. It was not fully dog secure - low fence at rear of property, dog over it several times, the side gates need chicken wire at the bottom to stop escapes,we had to adapt to stop this, also not secure as gates not lockable, we weren't able to relax and trust dog on own outside. Would be concerned for young children due to the low fence and unlock-able gates, they would need constant supervision. Just needs a higher fence running across the back and some padlocks. Also, could do with some garden furniture other than the bench, nowhere to relax and enjoy the sun! We didn't cook, but wouldn't have wanted to use the pans etc - seen better days. Please also review the mattresses, the one in twin room really hard, had to sleep on top of a quilt. Having said all this, grumbles only minor, had a lovely stay. Would recommend.

“Spaciously deceptive cottage” Beautiful cottage, large and cosy living room, good sized bedrooms, well appointed kitchen and fantastic shower. Located in excellent proximity to restaurants, pubs, shops, and pier. Well worth visiting the gaol. Due to size of living room would benefit from larger TV, and comfier sofa. Normally wouldn't have stayied in in the evening, but due to covid restrictions and the euros we did. Would strongly recommend booking meals especially over the weekend as most restaurants booked up. The Bull Sunday lunch is divine. Thank you

“Lovely cottage by the sea!” What a fantastic place to stay! I and my family stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. The cottage is well appointed with four en suite double bedrooms all tastefully decorated. The sea view from the cottage is lovely and the beach is great to explore. Prior to our arrival I had a few questions all of which were answered quickly and helpfully by Gwen the owner. The nearest town, Valley (about 10 minutes drive away) has amenities for supplies and take aways and a lovely Italian restaurant (Catch 22). There is a nearby (walkable) caravan site with a shop and swimming pool (open at the end of March). I can thoroughly recommend this property and would love to visit again.

“Weekend break” Had a lovely few days staying here with family. ( only two households allowed at present due to covid restrictions. But this is appears to be anywhere in Wales). There were 6 adults and a 15 month old. Good sized lounge and plenty of room in the kitchen/dinning room area. Had a couple of questions for Kate when we arrived and had a very prompt response. Sea view from most bedrooms Very nice Chinese takeaway just two minutes away. Two local convenience stores less than five minutes walk. Only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful beach. “Convenient location” Well equipped and furnished house on a main road but very convenient for the beautiful beach in Benllech and close to a supermarket. An excellent base to explore Anglesey. Previous comments have praised the cleanliness however for us we felt that maybe standards have fallen slightly. On arrival the downstairs toilet and floor needed a further clean and the bin was rusty and well past its best and needs replacing. The bath also needed a good clean and the skirting boards were dusty. The toaster had weeks worth of toast crumbs in it. Nothing major but it's the reason why I have given it 4 stars rather than 5.

“Home from Home..........” It was a delight to revisit a beautiful cottage that we used to stay in the eighties. My Mum was celebrating her 80th birthday and Helen had made our reception so welcoming with flowers and bubbly! The cottage is still as magical as it was then and hosts many precious memories for myself and my family. Immaculate, inviting, warm every need catered for........there are even enough utensils and cooking equipment to have your own mini "bake -off" session! Surrounding areas are great for exploring-beautiful coves and vast sandy beaches - Anglesey has its own micro-climate and we have never been disappointed with the weather. Looking forward to another visit later in the year. Definitely home from home........can't thank you enough Helen!

“Lovely house with lots of space” This holiday house is great for a large party as the rooms are all good sizes and there are several reception rooms so guests can have some space if needed. Our only criticism would be that the water pressure in the top floor two bathrooms was very poor and the previous guests hadn't ensured the plates were washed up properly, as there were dried green bits on several of them. I would holiday in the house again as location is good and we loved the space as there was 11 of us. We read a review about the beach having a lot of people walking dogs and this is the case and spoilt the day we had on the beach as not all dog owners were considerate walkers, but this isn't the fault of the house owner, it's something that the council should be addressing as it lets the area down as a holiday destination.

Anglesey holidays

Anglesey's natural beauty, tranquil setting and varied beaches make this Welsh wonder a fantastic choice when choosing a holiday in the UK. There are many events throughout the year that celebrate local food, music and culture, so despite its peaceful atmosphere there's never a dull moment in Anglesey. And if you fancy learning a new Welsh word, how about Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch? It's the longest place name in Europe (and probably the hardest to say!).

The chocolate-box villages have some beautiful self-catering holiday cottages where you can while away the evening sitting on a pretty patio with a glass of wine. Or how about a family-sized house near the sea with room for everyone? Whatever holiday accommodation you're looking for, there's plenty to choose from in Anglesey.

Wonderful wildlife

A trip to Anglesey wouldn't be complete without a visit to the stunning South Stack Cliffs. Binoculars and telescopes are provided so you can enjoy a close-up view of nesting colonies of seabirds on the cliffside. Look out for guillemots, puffins and razorbills. If you're lucky, you might be able to spot porpoises and dolphins in the sea in the summer months.

The hidden gardens at Plas Cadnant are often described as one of North Wales' best kept secrets and it's easy to see why: stroll through the unique walled garden, explore the secret valley garden with its three waterfalls and river, and walk the beautiful upper woodland garden. Other wildlife-spotting highlights include a walk through the gardens at Plas Newydd and looking out to sea from the South Stack Lighthouse.

Family fun

If you're planning a family holiday in Anglesey, you can look forward to a wealth of things to see and do. Meet the farm animals at Foel Farm park, see a flight of colourful butterflies at Pili Palas nature world or spend the day rockpooling on the beach. There are some fantastic beaches in Anglesey. Benllech beach is perfect for swimming and sea-fishing, and the sandy Newborough beach is unspoilt and has breathtaking sea views.

Amazing Location and great stay

The position of the property is undoubtedly one of the best in Trearddur, with sea views 180 degrees you can happily lose hours just staring out the window. The accommodation is spacious, we were 6 adults staying for a week and were able to have a a bedroom and bathroom each and not feel on top of each other. The living room and kitchen comfortably seated us all and are ideal for dining. It is a 2 minute walk to the Seacroft pub and 15 mins max to the wonderful Oceans Edge. Are there any negatives, a handful but minor, there are sings of wear and tear and maybe a little bit decor needs refreshing but as we stayed at the end of what has undoubtedly been an incredibly busy and difficult season for both the property and the property managers I think this is excusable and in no way affected the stay. would we be back? Yes, without doubt!see more

Great house for a large group!

Very good location, close to Red Wharf Bay and Benllech. Excellent, newly fitted kitchen dinner with conservatory added on. This was by far the best area and the kitchen was fitted with everything you could want or need, even if the house was fully occupied- superb! Main lounge also a very good size for a big gathering. Bedrooms all had en-suite which is fantastic and very rare. Even though one room does have two single beds that could be joined together, it would be better to have at least some King size beds in some rooms, especially if all visitors are very tall! The bar lounge was our least favourite room as it looked very tired and in need of an update. For the most part, the house was very clean. Plenty of parking for several cars. Overall, an excellent stay and we would definitely book again.see more
Apartment for hire in the village of Moelfre
Comfortable, value for money, on Coastal Path

The proprietor, Brian, was very warm and welcoming, with a great sense of humour. The accommodation is comfortable but fairly basic, with space to spread out thanks to a large conservatory. The property is literally a five minute walk from the coastal path on which you can walk either to Moelfre of Lligwy or indeed the entire coast of Anglesey. It is away from the main road through Moelfre and so is very quiet, especially at night. The kitchen is a little basic but I appreciate that many people like to eat out and there are a lot of eateries in the local area. We prefer to cook our own meals, and if that's your thing take some seasonings, a good frying pan and some utensils. There are shops and supermarkets within a 20 minute drive. We managed to make perfectly acceptable meals throughout our stay. The apartment is ideally located for exploration and it's very easy to get around the island. It's fantastic walking country. We felt very fortunate to find such reasonably priced accommodation in such a lovely location and we will definitely be back. Thank you Brian for being such a great host.see more
