“Ideal house for a gathering your friends and family” 6 adults, 6 children and a dog fitted comfortably - with room to spare - to spend New Year together. We recieved a friendly welcome from George and a lovely Christmassy hamper - thank you. Christmas decs and fairy lights gave the Arc a homely feel. The weather was crazy! Waterproofs and wellies. Heavy rain with strong winds meant we spent less time outside, but we made good use of the pool table, TVs, games, DVDs and WiFi. George came back to help with WiFi promptly, despite a long journey. The main kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t really use the smaller kichens on the upper levels - although the fridge on the middle level was perfectly positioned and sized for beer. There were plenty of heaters and bathrooms. Thanks for making our stay so easy.

“Just perfect. When can we come back?” We had a wonderful half term stay at Rye Bay Beach House. Superb location, (easy drive from London), perfectly equipped and furnished, very comfortable beds! Great showers, easy car parking, great restaurants and beautiful walks into medieval gem, Rye. The house is just steps from the beautiful Cambersands; the kids had a ball; when they weren't swimming, flying kites or jumping around in the dunes, they entertained themselves in the perfectly kitted out games room situated on the ground floor of the house. Wonderful to end the days with a glass of wine or two on the balcony in the evening sun! Nice touch with a little hamper of local products to welcome you on arrival. Rebecca and Kuros have given a great deal of thought to their lovely house. Thankyou; we will definitely book with you again.

“TOTAL RELAXATION - your very own spa!” We spent a week here, visiting family in the area. The accommodation was compact but adequate, lovely situation, very peaceful. Immaculately clean and well thought out. Very comfortable bed. It was lovely to have both a hot tub AND a swimming pool which we made use of and our grandsons who visited loved the pool. The owners are very friendly and helpful and totally respect your privacy. We shall definately be staying at the cottage again this year.

“Absolute gem” What an amazing find lock cottage was. Absolutely beautiful location. Cottage was spotlessly clean. Ian the owner incredibly helpful and also makes sure there are some essentials on arrival ie milk, teabags, coffee. Not to mention the lovely addition of a cake. The cottage itself has the most beautiful feel to it. Short drive to lots of interesting places. Had a little difficulty with the hot water initially but Ian was round very quickly to help. Sadly no recycling but we found a recycling bank at Rye Sports centre which was easy to access. Fantastic week and icing on the cake was spotting a kingfisher.

“Wonderful family holiday” We stayed for 1 week over Easter at The Salty dog with our two teenage girls and one dog. The property itself was very spacious, clean and a real home from home set in a quiet development. The girls liked the games room, choice of books to read, the big comfy beds and the added bonus of having Wi Fi access. The property had a private enclosed garden which was important for our dog. The property was in a great location, within a 5 minute walk we were on the beautiful sand dunes ready for our walks by the sea. Our dog had such a good time running on the beach and into the sea and we've never known her so tired in the evenings! We would recommend the Green Owl Pub for meals, a few minutes walk from the Salty Dog, it was child and dog friendly too. A few minutes drive away was the town of Rye, where we walked up Mermaid Street, browsed round the shops and walked up to Ypres Tower. We were very impressed with Rye,very quaint and pretty with a choice of cafes and pubs. During our stay we also had a good day out at Hastings, walked around the Old Town and up to the castle. We also enjoyed our walk along Winchelsea Beach which was more isolated and pebbly, but had a certain appeal. Our weather wasn't brilliant for the week but it did not affect our holiday at all. We found Carol very approachable and professional when booking and would definitely return.
