Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Brilliant brilliant” Excellent property. Lovely hamper loved celebrating my 50th here with my family. Would recommend to everyone. Could of not work out how to open doors on balconies but was not a major issue.
“Lovely weekend break at waves” What a lovely house!, very clean, lovely little treats which were very welcomed. Home from home feel with all you needed and more! Definitely recommend and use again. Great communication with owner to. Great location.
“All in all a pleasant stay” Great location if you’re looking for a pet friendly self catering accommodation by the seaside in the South East of England. Our Family of 4, our dog included, enjoyed staying here even in these difficult times. Life is what you make it!
“Lovely family stay” We stayed here with our 9 month (crawling) baby and our 3 year old toddler. We were pleasantly surprised to see small touches tailored to young ones, like a high chair and toilet seat. The caravan was also nice and baby proof for daughter to crawl around safely. Everything was very clean and everything we needed was available- kitchen stuff, BBQ, games etc. The holiday park was lovely and nice and close to the beach. Our toddler didn't want to come home!
“Beautiful Cottage!” We had a really lovely weekend at Kittiwake Cottage despite the good old British weather. The house was beautiful and equipped with everything you could need.. the shortbread and farm house cake was a lovely touch. Just a few minutes walk from the gorgeous huge beach, a selection of bars, cafes and restaurants.. and local convenient stores.. we will most certainly be back..!
“Christmas at Rye beach house” What a fantastic few days. The property is of a high standard with all the home comforts you could possibly need. The downstairs garage/table tennis room was fantastic, the table tennis playoffs were a regular evening activity. Ideal for a family with dogs as ours never needed to come up the stairs after their long walks on the beach they were happy to chill in such a large space.
We managed to cook well with all the pots and serving dishes. Plenty warm enough even in December. Apple TV allowed us to catch up on Christmas tv we had missed.
Camber was quiet but suddenly came alive on Boxing Day when every one from the south came to walk their dogs or even their horses!
The booking process and information prior to arrival was excellent. Thank you
“cosy cottage in a great location” We really enjoyed our short stay in this lovely, well-equipped cottage. It is in a great location for the beach where we swam every day and could also walk our dog. The sand dunes are amazing. It's also only a short drive from Dungeness, Rye and Rye Harbour, where we had a lovely meal in the William the Conqueror pub. We would definitely recommend Beach Retreat and hope to return.
