"Fairways", is our peaceful and comfortable 3 bed Scandinavian pine lodge which is superbly equipped and probably the best positioned lodge on the site. Completely redecorated for 2021 with a brand new kitchen, dining room and lounge.

Hartland Forest is set in a glorious unspoilt location, away from it all and offers an ideal setting for enjoying truly relaxing holidays. Set off the North Atlantic Highway between Bideford and Bude, the park is set on a 114 acre site amidst unspoilt rolling countryside and moorland, on the edge of Hartland Forest. Its not unusual to see woodpeckers , pheasants, deer and an abundance of birds around the lodge.

Fairways is an ideal base to explore the North Devon and Cornish coastline, or simply to relax on our large and private decked area enjoying the surrounding countryside. It is well insulated you'll find it's warm and cosy even in the depths of winter and it's very spacious.

Ideal for families with its 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite), washer dryer and proximity to sandy beaches makes this is an ideal holiday or short break location. Equally for a couple or group of walkers, cyclists, fishermen can fish in the two large well stocked,e.g. carp to over 30lb, private lakes on site (2 passes are free to our guests), visit one or more of the many local golf courses or picturesque villages and not forgetting the many sandy beaches, for a week or shortbreak getaway' you will go home feeling very relaxed.

This exceptional and stylish lodge exudes comfort, is well sited with views over the countryside and is furnished to a very high specification with everything and more you need for a relaxing holiday. We provide mobile broadband 4G WiFi, average download speeds are very good and tend to be over 50mbps, with FREE unlimited data included for you, subject to service and local signal conditions which do vary in poor weather

The lodge sleeps 6 in comfort (there is also a travel cot and high chair for any little ones), is very spacious and well equipped, the accommodation comprises a open plan lounge diner, kitchen, master bedroom with king size bed and en-suite, 2 further twin rooms, a family bathroom and should you need it a washer/dryer. The extra large outside decking features a teak table, 6 chairs and for the summer a stainless steel gas barbeque.

The lounge features two cosy grey sofas, coffee table, 42 inch plasma digital flat screen TV, HD PVR, Bluray DVD player and an Amazon 4K HD Firestick so you can stream all your favourite movies from Amazon, Netflix etc.

2 full height picture windows and sliding patio doors lead on to a large decked area with extending teak table, 6 chairs and gas BBQ for alfresco dining. The wrap around decking is well sited to catch the sun from early morning until sun set and is great for relaxing with a glass of wine and enjoying the peace and tranquility the site offers.

The dining room has an oak style dining table and chairs. There is an Amazon Echo to get updates on weather, local attractions, stream music or you can just attach your mobile device by bluetooth.

A modern and very well equipped kitchen with built in electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, separate freezer, externally vented extractor hood, microwave, tassimo coffee machine, toaster, kettle, full complement of cutlery, crockery, glasses, utensils, pots and pans.

Master bedroom, king size bed with a luxury memory foam mattress, dressing table, bedside drawers, full height wardrobe and a flat screen TV and DVD player. Attached is a contemporary en-suite shower room, toilet and basin.

2 further twin bedded rooms and a family bathroom. All bedrooms have wardrobes, bedside units with lights and drawers/dressing tables. For the little ones there is a high chair and travel cot available.

All bedrooms have luxury memory foam topped beds, high quality cotton bedding and bath sheets

Waitrose, Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's all deliver to Hartland Forest if you wish to arrange any grocery orders.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ian (the owner) a message.

If Ian (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
