“Fabulous”

Reviewed 4 Jul 2018

Had a great weekend stay here with my parents. Lovely setting with fabulous view! Great location to explore the local area -very peaceful while close access to beaches and towns. The cream tea was a lovely touch. Would definitely stay again.

“Very peaceful & gorgeous views”

Lovely place & very well equipped with everything you need. Nice secured garden ideal for our dog. Plus lovely views towards Padstow & Rock. The welcome pack was a lovely touch, flowers, scones, & a bottle of wine. A car is definitely needed as it is quite isolated, but there is a nice pub, The Quarryman, up lane which serves excellent food.

“Gorgeous views”

We really enjoyed our stay at Camel View. Very peaceful with lovely views over the estuary. The bungalow is equipped with everything you need & the welcome pack of flowers, scones, jam and cream plus a bottle of wine was a lovely surprise. The secure garden was also great for our dog. Another plus is that the Quarryman pub just up the lane is an excellent place for great food. Will definitely come again. The only negative & not anything that can be controlled was that on the first evening which was a lovely day, there were a lot of midges. But I suppose that's a risk of being in the lovely countryside.

“Beautiful location”

Reviewed 28 Jun 2016

We had a fantastic week and appreciated the welcome goodies. The weather was a bit hit and miss but we enjoyed hiring bikes down the Camel Trail to Padstow and exploring the coast. The view is amazing and the barn is well equipped and comfortable, located down quiet lanes but very quick to get back to the main road.

“Awesome long weekend.”

Reviewed 16 Jan 2015

Visiting from upstate New York we had a wonderfully relaxing stay at this beautiful, secluded cottage, which looks out over a picturesque tidal estuary dotted with boats. The cottage was immaculate with everything we needed for our long weekend. One of my daughters was particularly delighted to find it was only a short drive to "Doc Martin's house", the fishing village where one of her favourite TV shows was filmed! They also loved seeing all the farm animals, meeting the wonderfully friendly family who live in the nearby farm house, and visiting the convenient local beaches to play in the tide pools.
