The England region

The Axe Valley is surrounded by superb coastal and countryside scenery in this naturally beautiful part of Devon. Running through is the historic River Axe which meets the sea at Lyme Bay, now part of the designated World Heritage Site known as the Jurassic Coast.

Seaton is an unspoilt seaside town in East Devon on the south coast of England. It faces onto Lyme Bay to the west of the mouth of the River Axe with stunning white cliffs to one side and red cliffs on the other. Adjoining are Axmouth with its quaint harbour offering boat trips and crab fishing from the quayside.

The idyllic fishing village of Beer with its famous quarry caves and family activities at Pecorama is only 1 mile along the coast.

“Absolutely fantastic house in a superb location”

Reviewed 28 Aug 2016

This house catered for 3 generations which included teenagers, with ease. The house was wonderfully equipped, beautifully clean on our arrival and we could not have wanted for anything else. The house has a fantastic view at both the front and rear and it was most relaxing to enjoy a glass or two of wine in the afternoon sunshine whilst sitting on the patio. Gary was so good at communicating and all the information was given to me prior to arrival which made settling in very easy. Thank you Gary and Sally for allowing us to spend a week in your home! I would be delighted to return to this property again and would have no hesitation in recommending.

“Perfect holiday”

Reviewed 17 Jul 2016

Excellent holiday home. Lovely big house with huge rooms. Gardens are excellent and great for the kids to tire themselves out in. Views are amazing from every room, we enjoyed looking out for the deer in the field out back every morning. This house is in the perfect area and great for exploring the local towns. Beer in particular was a favourite of ours. I can highly recommend a trip to Pecorama, the kids loved it. Crealy adventure park was also a good day out, ideal for the younger kids. All in all a fantastic holiday was had by all and can't wait to return next year.
