“New Year’s Eve with a bang” Stayed in this lovely cottage over New year . I booked at very short notice - no Problem - very good communication. Easy to find . Easy to unload and park . Cottage is warm ( was a bit too hot we turned some of the radiators off ) and very clean . There is everything you need for a comfortable stay . The cottage is right on the high street - tucked behind a lovely court yard . The village has several restaurants, 3 pubs - all within a minutes walk , Deli, premier shop , off-licence and fresh fish market . 2 minutes to the coastal path and beach . We had a brilliant stay

A pleasant stay in a no frills studio flat.

Beer is a beautiful village and the accommodation could not be more centrally located. Local amenities although basic in terms of shops were good, especially the deli and restaurants. Although the information supplied said that milk would be supplied for our arrival it wasn’t and there was no vacuum cleaner. The fold out bed although comfortable was very time consuming to put out, therefore we left it for the duration of our stay and the shower head still had a tendency to droop as one showered, I remedied this with a piece of tape! However the accommodation was very suitable for our needs and I would recommend it to others. … see more

We stayed for three nights over Easter and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen was well equipped. Pretty seating area outside. Very comfortable beds. Close to car park. Also shops, fish and chip shop over the road, deli opposite we used and delicious pasties sold there. Very lovely village and hope to stay here again sometime. … see more

Exceptional cottage and location.

My Partner and I have thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at Craft Cottage. It’s a beautiful grade 2 listed property, cosy and well equipped. We found Beer a delightful and friendly village with much to offer. The beach is a four minute walk and accessible coastal walks can be found from here. The area is close to Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, Colyton and many other places of interest. We highly recommend this cottage and will retain forever happy memories of our relaxing break. … see more

Fabulous!

A couple looking for somewhere delightful to stay ? Then 'The Annexe at Southlands Cottage' is definitely for you! We had a fabulous week staying at this delightful location. Debbie and Derek have thought of everything you might need, it's very comfortable and everywhere is spotlessly clean- a real MUST at this difficult post lock down time. The beach is a short walk and not too crowded and there is such a variety of walking opportunities around the area (especially if you don't mind a few hills).
