Description

'Harbour View 4' is a 4 bedroom 2nd floor apartment on the edge of the pedestrianised Gosport town centre in Hampshire with great transport links to Portsmouth and beyond being opposite the ferry and ferry bus station and only a short 4 minute ferry ride to the Portsmouth Harbour train station alongside the fantastic and vibrant Gunwharf Quays.

The apartment has been recently upgraded and refurnished to a very good 3 * star standard with new carpets and flooring throughout plus a newly fitted kitchen and 2 new shower rooms providing a clean modern functional living space with views over the Historic Harbour, The Quays, The Spinnaker Tower and all the goings on within the harbour entrance.

Three of the bedrooms boast large king size double beds which convert to create 2 singles with windows overlooking the harbour whilst the 4th accommodates a pair of adult sized bunk beds allowing 8 people to sleep over the 4 bedrooms. The bedding is superior quality cotton linen with additional blankets/throws available if required.

The kitchen is a good size with clean modern sleek units, warm under foot vinyl flooring, ceramic splash back tiled walls, a free standing fridge and washing machine, integrated stainless steel oven/hob/extractor hood, microwave, cafetiere plus dining seating for up to 6.

The apartment also boasts 2 newly refurbished shower rooms with ceramic tiled floors and walls, 2 large corner showers, toilets and wash hand basins with shaving mirrors and tall wall mounted towel rails. Fresh towels are provided for each guest and are laid out on beds prior to your arrival.

The apartment is fully equipped for self catering plus has a cot and high chair also available on request but guests are asked to kindly bring their own child's bedding please

Getting around

With regards to public transport the nearest train station is Portsmouth Harbour which is located next to the Gosport/Portsmouth Ferry. This passenger ferry is then a short 5 minute ride across the water and then you are an approximate 2 minute walk to the apartment. We also have the nearby Fareham station which is an approximate 6-8 mile distance and an approximate 20 minute drive out of peak hours and should be avoided during rush hour if possible.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ken (the owner) a message.

If Ken (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
