“Incredible Penthouse...Blown away by the space and views on offer” I hired this place for my 30th birthday party. We had about 10 of us staying. On entering the building you're blown away by the grandeur of the whole building, and when you take the lift to the top floor, and push past the final door at the end of the corridor, you're greeted by an incredibly spacious, and luxurious penthouse.
It's true, photos don't do this place justice!!
The views from the expansive terrace are incredible, the terrace could easily hold 50-60 people, perfect for gatherings and BBQ's.
We had perfect weather for the last weekend of September, and fully made use of the terrace.
The flat has plenty of bathrooms, with really powerful showers, and what seems like an endless supply of hot water. Ideally for groups getting ready.
All the bedrooms are really spacious, and well furnished, the top floor has the best bedroom, with windows on 4 sides, you really do feel on top of the world.
You get two parking spaces included with the flat, which is ideal, it’s only a short work into the city of Southampton. There’s also a taxi rank right outside, and a lovely bar/club on the ground/lower ground floor of the building where you get 15% off drinks and food orders. They treat you like royalty if you tell them where you’re staying ‘The Penthouse’
This is the best place to stay in Southampton. I was so impressed with the property I even looked to see if any were for sale in the building!
We had a fantastic 30th, and it was partly down to such an incredible venue…words are hard to describe this place.
Debbie, is great, very organised, and a fountain of knowledge.
I loved the place so much I’m certainly coming back in the future!
This delightful port city in South East England is perfect for an exciting city break with a hefty dose of maritime history. There's plenty on offer to please just about everyone, so you're sure to have an exciting time. Book a holiday rental in Southampton and start exploring this exciting city.
Southampton has been around in some form since Roman times, and became the main trading port in England in the Saxon times, because of its useful seaside location. Remnants of these times can be found throughout the city, however they are few and far between, as the city was heavily damaged during WW2, and consequently much of its architecture is modern. As a city, there's a lot on offer here, and a lot to learn!
What to Do
Little ones will love the Oasis Down to Earth Farm, where they can get some real hands on experience with the barnyard creatures.
For something a bit different, try snowboarding or doughnutting at the Alpine Snowsports Centre, with fantastic tuition available for complete beginners.
Top Southampton Travel Tips
The centre of town is pretty flat and easy to get around on foot or by bike, with lots of pedestrian areas and bike lanes around. If you're going further around the city, take advantage of the buses, which are pretty regular, and some services run all night.
For an exciting city break surrounded by sea air and history, be sure to book your next holiday rental in Southampton.

Lovely house and surroundings. Secluded so the only sounds you hear are nature. The lane leading to the house is a little narrow. But English driver's have always been courteous and friendly. Would stay there again and highly recommend for those who want to see the countryside. …

Holiday Yacht Hamble Southampton Hampshire
Unusual end to a holiday
Hamble marina easy to find from directions given, yacht brilliant. Children and adults found it very exciting especially with yachts moored opposite who were taking part in the fast net race! Would recommend a stay here anytime even for a seasick prone grandma who was not seasick once! Good access to Southampton and the south coast and new forest. …
Sleek 1 bedroom flat with great roof terrace view
Economical and convenient
Nice one bedroom flat close to Southampton city center. Has all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Cutlery should be replaced and extra knives provided but otherwise kitchen utensils are good. For the price per night, it would be difficult to find a better accommodation.
Free street parking is only available close to the stadium, about 1 km away. Even then, it is usually fully occupied! We got a summons for overnight parking which exceeded the 20 mins allowed after 8 am.
We had to wait 2 hours as we failed to notify Stevens, the owner, on the time of arrival - our fault. Perhaps an arrangement to take the key from a combination key box would be more convenient for the future. …

Fantastic accommodation, spacious and homely!
A group of us rented the entire house for 3 nights over New Year. The house is extremely spacious, with 6 double bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and a very large kitchen, perfect for a big group gathering. The owners were extremely helpful and just across the road if there were any problems. Highly recommend this accommodation to anyone thinking to visit the Southampton / new forest area. …
