The Stables have been converted to high standard living accommodation for the 2018 season. Very comfortable beds.

Well equipped, spacious living 5+2 in a quiet rural setting with trees near by to listen to bird song. Lovely walks from your door. Walk to the friendly pub the Tuckers Arms and beautiful village of Dalwood.

Four miles from Axminster, you will discover this characterful barn conversion, a modern retreat only a short distance from the Jurassic Coast.Nestled in the beautiful English countryside on a working farm, this cottage promises a relaxing stay for couples or travellers.The stable doors lead through to an open-plan dining area, with a table for eight people and a comfortable sofa where you can rest and wait for those appetising meals to cook.Traditional exposed beams overlook the room, and low lighting adds a quality effect.The contemporary kitchen lies in the corner of the layout, styled with a light grey overtone.Two fabulous bedrooms make up the cottage; a bedroom is located on the ground floor with 3 single beds, whilst the super king-size rests upstairs, both are elevated by en-suite shower rooms and more charming exposed beams.The lounge is a beautiful place to unwind, designed with sumptuous sofas, a vaulted ceiling and art prints on the wall.Magnificent countryside views are showcased from the windows, and you can stroll out onto the balcony, to be at one with it all.With the addition of a sofa bed, wake up to the views each day that goes by.Lastly, the family bathroom is immaculately presented, well-appointed with a suite matching that of a hotel standard.Only a short drive away, you will have a selection of beaches to choose from; Lyme Regis, Sidmouth, Charmouth, Seatown, Branscombe, Seaton and Beer all make for memorable days out. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Pamela (the owner) a message.

If Pamela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
