“Comfy Cottage in a Stunning Location” The cottage is very warm and comfortable and equipped with everything you could need.
The master bedroom is particularly attractive and the bed is extremely comfortable.
We enjoyed eating our breakfast while looking out over the loch.
We tried to get our dog to go out in the rowing boat with us but she refused!
“Amazing, good as it sounds, self-catering holiday property” We are tardy in sending our review of Airigh nam Fiadh but have not forgotten what a truly wonderful place it was to stay in. It is very thoughtfully furnished and presented, with plenty of space for our extended family. We had pretty good weather whilst staying but had it not been the case we would have happily spent days chilling at the property. A good central location for all the Outer Hebrides - we managed a day trip as far as Lewis & Harris. Sunsets, skies (day & night) and beaches to die for everywhere.
Alan the owner is on hand to chat, give advice, as much or as little as you need.
No hesitation in recommending this brilliant property!
“Best location on Harris!” Perfect, secluded location at the waters edge but only ten minutes from the ferry terminal. So quiet, Bob the seal visited at least once daily, welcomed by deer in the garden on arrival day then frequently throughout the weeks stay. Rock pools on the doorstep, children spent hours just exploring the rocks and making great memories. It was hard to drag them away to explore the rest of the island but we all fell in love with the amazing beaches.Endless sands and practically empty Luskentyre and Scarista were favourites a short drive from the cottage. The cottage itself a perfect balance of tasteful decoration and many homely touches (the welcome wine very much appreciated!) As two families sharing the main house and end house we had more than ample space for all.We were all sad to leave and can’t wait to return to Harris!
