“Superb Weekend” What a find this place was. Very private and the peace and quiet is quality. I visited here with 5 fiends for a small break. The lodge is set at the back of a farm and has lovely surroundings and an excellent hot tub around the back. The lodge was really clean and very well presented. We are already looking to book up again for next year.

“Amazing!” Exceptional beautiful house. Excellent party house for a few friends. Very kind of the owner to leave us 2 bottles of wine. The views from the back of house are amazing. Everything was perfect and very clean. We were so lucky with the weather too. Definition would stay again.

“Perfect! Definitely choose here!” Me, my mum and my girls aged 7, 5 and 1 had a lovely stay here. The cottage is lovely and decorated to a high standard. The position couldn't be better. Right in the middle of everything (but without this being a problem in any way). There is 40 min parking outside to unload. The Long stay car park is only 100 metres from the house and after a bit of patience we got parked ok. Being an old town this is just something you have to put up with! :) Was particularly pleased to see a proper additional mattress to use in the travel cot. The kids were extremely happy with their bedroom and wall mounted TV with DVD slot, especially when they found the Lego movie DVD downstairs! The kitchen is lovely with all good quality electricals. The owner was very helpful with everything and we could not fault the cottage at all. The only things I will mention is possibly look at some sort of baby gate for bottom of stairs as there is a stone floor and we were always having to be on our guard that she might try to go upstairs and fall back down (which she turned in to a game!) not a problem of course if you don't have toddlers! The other thing is that the downstairs windows do not open- and only some upstairs ( which the owner is aware of and trying to sort) so quite a lot of condensation built up on the windows after showers and in the morning. However this was not a problem for us or anyone else staying but may be for the owner if not seen to soon.

“A great place to stay!” Very comfortable, everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable and relaxed. Loved the extra touches such as the wine and chocolates on the bed, which made it feel like a real treat. Really handy location to walk in to York. 10 out of 10!

“Fantastic!!” We have just returned from an amazing week at jasmine cottage. I can't believe we haven't been to saltburn before ! We will definitely be back & would like to stop in this cottage again . It was home from home , extremely clean & everything we needed was there. Even the very kind next door neighbour baked us a soda cake we were made very welcome, thank you Ian we will be back!!!!

“Amazing” Well can’t recommend this enough, spotlessly clean there is nothing you can’t have , perfect holiday home, & Julie is the perfect host nothing is too much trouble, as for the house itself everything you need from soap , hand sanitizer & disposable gloves to salt & pepper, and kitchen roll they even have tea & coffee ready for a cuppa when you arrive, A really lovely home, constant hot water so no cold showers here!! Position was perfect for exploring the town , and as a bonus they supply parking vouchers with the rental so no parking fines , as Scarborough is very hot with there traffic wardens.
