Gayle Farmhouse
Great location and pet friendly

This is a great cottage. Location wise it is great, lots of local walks and some interesting attractions also within walking distance. The town of Hawes is approx 10 minutes walk and has several nice cafes and pubs, Be aware though that the good pubs book up early so if arriving at the weekend it is worth booking if you want to eat. There are loads of interesting things to do in the surrounding areas (30 - 60 minutes drive) once you have seen all you want to in Hawes. We were also surprised by how cheap a lot of things were. The cottage is probably a bit smaller than we expected in the photos but more than big enough for the two of us and our dog. It sleeps six which would probably work ok with kids, not so sure about 6 adults though. The cottage is on a very quiet lane with the only traffic we saw outside the occasional car unloading. Allocated parking for one car is right next to the cottage. We had a great week here and were very happy with our choice of accommodation.see more
