“Lovely location” This chalet is located on a lovely lake which is situated on a camp site with a pool and clubhouse ( not used by us). The chalet is basic but cosy. The decking has potential but needs some TLC. More detailed instructions would be beneficial too. Disappointed that towels were not included within the £25 linen fee. Had an enjoyable couple of days stay as the location was ideal for exploring.

“Wonderful views” The chalet is really well kitted out, but I must say you definitely need your own transport. Despite the wet start we were able to do plenty walking, shame we only managed to sit out in the back with a drink and the sun ☀ only once, but that's British weather for you, lovely and cosy.

“Perfect pet friendly secluded escape” A fabulous little place, off the beaten track which makes it a perfect secluded escape, yet close to everything you can need, from beaches to mountains, lakes to picturesque towns. The chalet has fabulous mountain views and is pet and child friendly. It has everything you need for a very comfortable stay, the only fault being we could not stay longer! We will definitely return. The owners, and their lovely dog Thorn, are very friendly and are close by should you need anything during your stay. We had great weather for the time of year and were lucky enough to get to the top of Snowdon!

“Cosy chalet in a great location - good for families and couples.” Glan Gwna is a large holiday park, a short drive from Caernarfon, with easy access to Snowdonia, Angelsey and the beaches of West Wales. Rita's chalet is right on the fishing lake, in a lovely peaceful setting - almost dead silence at night, which we appreciated, a lot!. The beds are comfortable and warm, the shower quite powerful, kitchen clean and well equipped for our needs and the living area has a couple of leather sofas and a great view onto the deck and beyond to the lake. The weather was not good enough to use the deck much, but if it had been warmer, we could have spent a lot of time outside, with a good sized BBQ, sun loungers and eating area. To help pass the time when it's raining, Rita has stocked the chalet with plenty of books and games. There's also a decent sized outdoor swimming pool on site, a small shop and takeaway pizza place, none of which we tried, but they were all well used by the many families who were staying on site. You have to pay extra for electricity, and we were not particularly frugal with our water heating and general usage, but it was still only £10 for the whole week for three of us, which we thought was very reasonable. Negatives? The only issue we would mention is the wi-fi. Rita warned us that we would be lucky to get a signal, and she was not wrong! We were able to connect, but sometimes after several attempts, and it was a bit slow and unreliable. Communication with Rita, before and during our stay was very easy, and she is even sending on some items we left behind, which is very kind of her. This is a great place for families with young children seeking a base for active holidays, and also for couples who are after a quiet, peaceful break.

“Excellent” Estuary View was all we hoped it would be. A very peaceful location but close enough to the town Aberdovey for shops, cafes and pubs. The chalet had everything we needed from maps of the local area, games and plenty of information about what to do in the area. The children found a great rope swing hanging from a Oak tree in the little wooded area, just below the chalet. We had some great value meals out in the evenings, at the Dovey Inn, plenty of choice and excellent children's menu! The town beach in Aberdovey is lovely, perfectly safe for the children to paddle and dig in the sand. On most morning's from 11am ,young children can have a donkey ride on the beach to the left of the little playground. If you are looking for a quieter bit of the beach, then drive towards Tywyn, park opposite the churchyard on the right-hand side and walk across the golf course, over the boardwalk and onto the beach. “perfect christmas getaway” Had the most relaxing Christmas at morawel chalet it had everything we needed with the fully equipped kitchen the amazing beach and mountain views ,lovely and peaceful you could just hear the sound of the sea was just perfect also the king size bed was so comfy ,the chalet was lovely and warm and cosy my husband and I would like to thank Fran for sharing her lovely holiday home we would of loved to of stayed longer we will definitely be booking again we also visited the TY COCH INN pub but sadly we were 15min to late it had closed early due to being xmas day would also like to say how friendly the locals were we got lots of hellos and merry Christmas on our walks what a lovely place .

“Excellent New Years get away!” We stayed for 5 nights over New Years and had a fantastic time. Lovely location and perfect place for a rest. Felt like home from home loved it and will definitely return.
