“comfortable and welcoming, excellent location for touring” A lovely welcome from Rosie who made sure we were ok throughout our stay. A comfortable place to rest our weary selves after each day visiting castles, stately homes and mills and tramway museums. Frequently visited also by the chickens, cats and dog.

“great space, served its purpose” Great space, lots of bathrooms, big kitchen, big dining room, big lounge, nice bar area-all well kitted out, nice hot tub and outside area, nice views. Some areas are a little dated but generally clean and tidy. Could have benefitted from being able to turn the heating down ourselves. Cooking sunday dinner we did trip the electric but the owners were available on the phone to help immediately.

“Great getaway place” Really lovely cottage, clean, fully equipped with everything you need to get away from the city life. Be sure to try out the steam room, and the local pub Barley Mow for great food and atmosphere. Best to spend at least a week as the surrounding villages offer so much to see and do. Oh, and the kitchen is a dream come true for anyone who loves cooking! Definitely recommend!!

“A very comfortable stay.” The bungalow is very spacious, comfortable and well fitted out. We were pleasantly surprised by the space in the property and the well equipped kitchen. There is a very large enclosed garden which our dog Rifle loved and a conservatory for when the evenings were not so warm. Located a few minutes walk from shops, parks and pubs it was ideally placed. It was easy to set off from this location on to public footpaths for some beautiful walks. A lovely holiday.

“Great place for group gatherings & lovely location” Stayed here with a group of friends for a 30th birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed it! The cottage is a perfect size for a large group at a reasonable price and has everything you need. Location great for walking, lots of beautiful scenery. Local pub The jug and glass was great for our evening meal, lovely food at a good price and live music. Would definately stay here again and would recommend to others.
