“Lovely house with comfortable living and bedrooms.” We were a party of 7 adults, 1 child and 2 dogs. House had loads of room for us all. Bedrooms were huge and very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with everything you would need. Fruit trees in the garden were a huge hit with my grand-daughter as was the big box of toys (she brought her own and never looked at them as this box was much more interesting). Location was perfect. We took a sail over to Gigha and had a fabulous lunch at The Boathouse Restaurant. An amazing weekend in a beautiful period house. One small thing to note if you have dogs, the garden is not secure. My dogs love water and we therefore had to keep a close eye on them as the canal is only a few metres away!

“A little bit of heaven for a week.” South Lodge was very comfortable and well-appointed. The bathroom and shower was excellent-slight difficulty getting the underfloor heating to come on but apart from that everything was perfect. Comfy bed and lovely cosy sitting room. The location was so peaceful and it was great to be able to walk out of the front door with the dogs and straight onto a bridleway through the woods! The somewhat remote location proved to be an advantage although it seemed along way on the outward journey. This part of Scotland has so much to offer in terms of woodland walks and nature reserves plus amazing sea lochs. I would definitely like to return.
