“Excellent base” Woodside cottage is a perfect base for exploring the peninsula. The cottage was very clean on arrival and the owner was very helpful with providing information beforehand. The area has stunning scenery and plenty to do; we did numerous walks, visited Castle Tioram, Ardnamurchan Point, Glenfinnan, Arisaig and Mallaig for a trip to the Treshnish islands (hundreds of puffins!) While we didn't see much wildlife from the cottage, it was still a lovely spot with views onto the moor from the decking. We would definitely recommend this cottage!

“What a wonderful cottage; amazing.” Set in its own bit of heaven, on arrival Kate made us feel like old friends greeted with a lovely smile and a delightful lemon drizzle cake. The cottage was spotless but at the same time allowed you to feel totally relaxed. Never mind the rain, we had a fantastic time . Castles to visit , lochs to take trips on, distilleries to float around and a wonderful trip to Skye.

“Thanks John and Reece” Great place to stay, very friendly and helpful owner, let use walk his field to explore, provided advice on local area. Left us to get on with our stay after showing us the accommodation. We booked 2 pods for 2 nights, wish i had booked longer. Stunning views, and great to wake up and just open the doors to see the views, as you lay in bed. We will visit and use again. some pointers for others who stay. Ferry is £9 per crossing per car, so not bad, you can travel across for free if on foot. No shops close by therefore just for walking and sight seeing. I would recommend getting food and drink supplies before arriving, especially if you plan on having a BBQ, otherwise its a car trip across by ferry again to nearest town approx. 8 miles away. Do try the local sandwich caravan, good selection of sandwiches and cakes and hot drinks. Local Hotel was closed both sides of the river this year, but they are usually open i am informed. I would highly recommend these pods and local area. Regards Pete

“Lovely chalet in peaceful location.” Very happy with the chalet, it had everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was in a lovely location and perfectly placed for exploring the Fort William area. The view from the chalet was delightful and we loved looking out for deer in the surrounding grounds. I have already recommended the chalet to family and friends and wouldn't hesitate to book again if we are ever in the area.
