Viewing 30 of 30 bungalows in Badenoch and Strathspey
“Great Venue” A wonderful base for a large family gathering. Generous room sizes, great and well equipped communal spaces, and fantastic location. Modern and thoughtfuly designed.
Out of the (relative) bustle of Aviemore, Carbridge offers the perfect base for all kinds of outdoors activities, be that a walk in the woods directly acccessed from the fenced-in rear garden, or wider a field for all the fun and activities the NP has to offer.
“Great facilities” Very comfortable house in a quiet cul de sac a 10 minute walk into town and even less into open country. Membership of the Dalfaber club a bonus which my 19 and 21 year old used. We took 2 bikes and 2 sets of golf clubs but needn't have bothered as bikes were good quality as were the golf clubs. I particularly liked the covered area outside the back door. It was a good place to sit with a cup of tea or glass of wine whatever the weather. Laura gave us some good tips on places to eat - we enjoyed the old bridge. I'd recommend this place to anyone particularly those with younger children. For golf I'd recommend Newtonmore , not as good but much quieter than boat of garten, for walks Nethybridge, for rides, the back roads out to Grantown and back via Carrbridge, or ride up to drumochter summit and coast back.
“Warm , Comfortable and clean” We have stayed here previously and as before found the accomodation to be clean ,warm and well equiped . Included in the rental is a free pass to Dalfaber country club. The property is idealy situated within walkind distance of Aviemore. We have already booked to return.
“ideal for large family group. children/dog-friendly.” Great holiday accommodation. Very comfortable, relaxed . Air-source heating was interesting and worked well.Ideal location, just a short walk to shop. Secure garden was very useful for our dog. Lovely to have a gate into pine forest at end of garden.
There is no longer a pond.
“Amazing family trip!!” We visited Craigie View (7nights) as a family of 4 with a 9 yr old and 14 yr old and a dog. The house is lovely and fully equipped to entertain everyone. It is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay.
David and his wife are on call for any questions/issues you may have.
Lots of activities locally and a bit further afield depending on what you wanted to do. Lovely local walks and shops/restaurants nearby.
We had the an excellent day up the Cairngorms , our favourite day was visiting the Land mark centre. We also visited Loch Ness and did some horse riding at local stables which was also great fun.
Hopefully we will visit Craigie View again in the future maybe in the winter next time.
