“Ideal location, perfect cottage for 2 people” The location is second to none - short walk across the dunes to the world famous Luskentyre beach. The house is light, warm, comfortable and spacious for 2. We'll definitely come again! In terms of improvements - the kitchenware is somewhat lacking - next time we'll bring a decent frying pan, some scissors and a sharp knife! Would also advise that tap washers are replaced. At least one can't be fully turned off.

“Enjoyable stay at Eranca Cottage” We received a warm and generous welcome from the hosts when we arrived. The house is spotlessly clean, warm and well appointed. We found everything we needed for cooking and dining, the shower and jacuzzi bath were excellent and the double bed was extremely comfortable. There’s a lovely decked area leading out to a fabulous view over the Loch and distant hills. Many of the important historical sites are nearby, as is the fantastic Uig beaches and Valtos peninsula which should not be missed. I’m sure we will return one day. “fabulous place” We had a wonderful week here. The place is very comfy with all the facilities you need to enjoy your stay. Good kitchen. Making cooking easy, great games room, keeping the teens happy and the views were amazing. Being able to get right down to the water was great. We saw deer, otters and loads of birds from the house. Highly recommended.

“Bliss” Lovely accommodation, clean, modern, cosy, everything we could want. We loved the wee toiletries on arrival, a lovely extra. Great to know owners available if we needed anything. Tarbert is central for going anywhere,both Lewis or Harris.The beaches are a close drive and absolutely stunning.We will definitely go back. A gorgeous place to stay on a beautiful island. Good for the soul!

“Cosy comfortable Seascape Cottage” Loved the cottage and the tasteful decor in a nautical theme. Modern appliances, plenty dishes, cutlery, glasses etc. Comfortable beds, lots of seating and good heating. Stunning views, so peaceful and quiet but only ten minutes drive into Stornoway. Weather was so nice, we even managed to eat out at picnic table in front garden. Would love to return.

“Blissful tranquility and scenery” Gorgeous setting overlooking a rugged bay full of seals. Peace and quiet on tap - a laid back approach is essential to enjoy Harris. We had great weather and that helps. But the cottage is very comfy and kicking back to read, listen to music and stare at the ever changing scenery - tides in and out, counting the seals, occasional eagle, heron, otter etc and wonderful light - would not be a hardship if the weather did close in. Not much out there but enjoyed food at Rodel Hotel and the anchorage. Also Butty Bus a must! Watch out - CoOp shut on Sundays.
