“Delightful cottage in perfect location.” A beautiful Sandy bay on the doorstep with others just round the corners. The view through the Windows wax better than watching telly. We enjoyed walks, bike rides and kayaking and a delicious meal at a local restaurant. Local community museums told the story of the area as well as selling home made good in their cafes. This is a real get away from it place without being too isolated.

“All you could need” This has proved to be a great choice of place to stay, the chalet has everything you could need is very comfortable and warm. A great base to explore the isle and all that it has to offer. We had a great welcome from Joan the owner of the cabin who gave us good advise regards the sights and places to see. We have never had such a chilled holiday and I can not recommend a stay in this chalet enough.

“Perfect home from home for the family” Really enjoyed our week staying in the cottage. The location is 10/10. We found the house fully equipped with everything needed for our stay. Comfortable, warm, welcoming, and the view is just superb. The location is the perfect place in Lewis to be based to explore the island and the local shop is a short drive ( 10min) is well stocked with lots of essentials. Our favourite time was sitting on the porch swing in the evening peacefully watching the trout jump out the loch for their dinner while the neighbourhood Robin sang us a song. Good phone and internet reception ( for the young ones) The only fault I could say is for some people the spiral stairs could be difficult to climb. My husband, my dog and I can’t wait to return to relax and enjoy sitting by the log fire & taking in the perfect view.

“Cosy comfortable Seascape Cottage” Loved the cottage and the tasteful decor in a nautical theme. Modern appliances, plenty dishes, cutlery, glasses etc. Comfortable beds, lots of seating and good heating. Stunning views, so peaceful and quiet but only ten minutes drive into Stornoway. Weather was so nice, we even managed to eat out at picnic table in front garden. Would love to return.

“Cosy rural Cottage” Wonderful relaxing week in a cosy cottage. Very warm welcome with stove on and lights as we arrived late with a welcome homemade cake and wine from the lovely owner. “Perfect Cottage in beautiful surrounding” Harsgier View is an ideal cottage for both exploration of the Isle of Lewis or simply for relaxing in total peace and tranquility. The cottage is beautiful and very well equipped. Although rated a 4 star cottage the modern interior and spotless presentation make it feel like a 5 star. The cottage offers exceptional value for money and my family and I have enjoyed two wonderful holidays there.

“Blissful tranquility and scenery” Gorgeous setting overlooking a rugged bay full of seals. Peace and quiet on tap - a laid back approach is essential to enjoy Harris. We had great weather and that helps. But the cottage is very comfy and kicking back to read, listen to music and stare at the ever changing scenery - tides in and out, counting the seals, occasional eagle, heron, otter etc and wonderful light - would not be a hardship if the weather did close in. Not much out there but enjoyed food at Rodel Hotel and the anchorage. Also Butty Bus a must! Watch out - CoOp shut on Sundays.
