“Holidays in Scotland” We liked the seize of the house and the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and the utility room as well. So are the other rooms. The view from the living-room is fantastic even if there isn't any sunshine. Debra gave us a warm

The Old Waverley self catering accommodation
Great welcome, couldn't believe the space

Ank welcomed us to Waverley and we loved the space, it was far bigger than we expected. Really clean and tidy everywhere and it was a pleasure to see a very well equipped kitchen, sadly we didn't do any cooking because we were eating out with family and friends for the weekend but we could have definitely catered for everyone here! Lovely comfortable Super Kingsized bed and plenty of room to move round even with the big bed. Just one slight disappointment and Ank was very apologetic - the hot water takes an age to fill the bath - this wasn't really a problem for us and the shower worked fine. Perhaps it needs a pump, we have one at home and it works really well delivering lashings of hot water at speed! Would highly recommend staying at Waverley. We were embarking on the North Coast 500 drive and it was also perfect for exploring Skye, Plockton and the Applecross area, it worked really well for us. see more
Varis Holiday House, Balmacara - views to Skye
Lovely setting for a relaxing holiday

The house was ideally situated for visiting Skye and Wester Ross, it was in a nice secluded position far enough from the road to be quiet and was very well appointed, the attention to detail was very impressive, the beds were very comfortable and everywhere was very clean. … see more
    Avernish Lodge
Luxurious and relaxing stay with all mod cons

I stayed here for a week with my partner and we used it as a base to explore the area on our mountain bikes. The place is well kitted-out, offering luxuries like underfloor heating and a log burning stove that made the place really cosy. Waking up to the views directly out the massive windows in each room was an absolute pleasure, and there was complete natural silence and no human contact which made for a very relaxing stay. Having said that, it feels like you are in the middle of nowhere, not seeing or hearing a car the whole stay, but actually only a couple of short miles from civilisation and shops. I'll definitely be coming back to stay here again, it was beginning to feel very much like home after only a day or two and felt horrible to go home!! see more
    Railway Terrace Self Catering Cottage
    Railway Terrace Cottage - Beautiful

This is a beautifully decorated and immaculately presented cottage. Very very cosy with all the essentials you need, as well as a lovely log burning fire with plenty of logs to burn (kept me entertained). It's got a perfect location for exploring Skye and the surrounding areas, it's in a quiet little row of cottages which are just a few minutes away from shops, restaurants, pubs and takeaway's, it's also got a small petrol station just across the road from it. We will be booking again if we are back up around the Skye area again in the future. The owner is extremely helpful and has loads of advice to give and will happily answer any of your questions. Highly recommended. see more
