Excellent accommodation for a large family

Up to now there have been 23 Excellent reviews, well now there are 24. Booked originally as a week for 5 adults we ended up with a total of 8. However no worries there as there was enough room/space to give the impression that we all had the place to our selves. I still haven't figured out how the owners managed that! As for the location we could not fault it. On a hill overlooking the Loch with a view of the snowcapped mountains on the opposite bank. Darks skies at night which, when the sky cleared, gave an impressive view of the Milky Way. Something I had not seen for quite a few years, almost close enough to touch. As well as the views this cottage had all we needed for our stay. Comfortable and warm as well as quiet and tranquil. On the final night's stay we even had a visit from a local Otter, honestly if the patio doors had been open it would have walked right in and made itself at home. Thing is we only booked for a week, next time we'll make it a fortnight.see more
