“Fantastic” We were lucky enough to stay here on a long break. The cottage was immaculate and so well kitted out with everything you could need, just bring yourself. If you have mobility problems, you will have to drive to the beach. As you leave the cottage on foot, turn left for cliff walks and amazing views, turn right down the hill to the beach. On the doorstep is the Pine gardens, well worth a visit and the tearoom is fab . Wonderful location, beautiful cottage and lovely hosts, thank you Maria and Michael xx

“Lovely stay” We had a lovely stay here Pam who owns this bungalow, seems a really lovely person, although we haven’t actually met her. The bungalow was a real home away from home, so clean and comfortable and the little extra touches of milk, tea, coffee and biscuits left for us was really lovely. The park itself was very nice, the swimming pools sauna etc was great. The few staff we spoke to were very nice and helpful. The area of St. Margaret’s bay is really beautiful. I would definitely like to stay here again.

“Wonderful family accommodation with exceptional hosts” A well equipped cottage with all we needed to ensure a relaxed and enjoyable stay. When we asked to extend, Maria & Robin, searched for an alternative for the three nights that had been previously booked and offered them to us. Ever tentative and welcoming, Maria, Robin, Isabella, and Oscar made us all welcome and we enjoyed sitting in the sunshine near the pool. Highly recommend - the proximity to the A21 is NOT a problem with the sounds buffered by double glazing and the tree line.

“Great location near to the beach” Chose Princess cottage as it was near to the beach and dog friendly. Also you had a choice if you wanted to use public transport rather than drive. Luckily we had great weather and was very happy with the accomadtion, it had everything that was needed. Loved that it had Alexa, broadband and netflix. After being out all day it was nice to relax in the evenings with some entertainment. Would certainly recommend, quiet area in a cul-de-sac. Our little dog made himself at home very quickly garden was enclosed so it was safe.

“Well equiped cottage in very nice surroundings” All ameniteis were available in the cottage. The necessaties for the arrival like bread, butter fruits, jam, coffee ,tea and a nice bottle of wine were all there! Jenny and her husband were very friendly and helpful.

“Even better than we had imagined- amazing holiday house!!” I stayed in this house from the 28th-31st march with a group of seven ladies for a hen weekend. Although the website for this house looked great I was still a little apprehensive that it wouldn't quite look the same when we got there, But as soon as I stepped into the house I knew I had nothing to worry about...the house was amazing...so much better than I had imagined. We definitely felt like we were living in luxury for the weekend. From the elegant hallway as you walk in to the boudoir bedrooms and the spacious and modern living area. everything was perfect. All the rooms are spacious and at no point did we feel like we were living on top of one another. One of the best parts of the house is definitely the sun room. It felt like we were on a beach a million miles from England. You can choose your setting, whether you want to be in Miami, Mauritius or Bali, and the DJ decks and sound system made you feel like you were on a party island somewhere. We also made use of the cinema on the last evening and chose from a variety of DVDs that were left at the house. The actual television screen isn't massive but it was fine for what we needed. The kitchen had all we needed and more, we didn't cook any meals in the house but it certainly has everything you would need if you wanted to. The house is on the beach front and we were lucky enough to have some sunshine so enjoyed a walk along the beach to the amusements. They're very cheesy as some sea side towns are but we had a lot of fun. We also found a lovely tea room called Mary's which is just on the right hand side as you come out of the street. I would definitely recommend popping in for tea and cake!! There's a fish and chip shop, Indian and Chinese in the town....walking distance or two minutes in the car. We only used the Chinese and it was lovely so again I'd recommend if you fancy a take away. On the Saturday night we got a taxi into Maidstone and had an amazing night out!! It's definitely worth going if your looking for bars and clubs. The mercury spa is lovely and only 15 minutes away, we spent a day there and came away feeling very relaxed. The only thing that I would say if that in one of the master bedrooms there is a lovely jacuzzi bath, but it takes a very long time to fill it up, So if you plan on using it start early! But if that's the only thing I picked up on over the whole weekend then I don't think that's bad. I couldn't recommend this house to you any more, it's just fantastic. My friend certainly had a hen weekend she will never forget!! I will definitely be recommending the Beach Sun Retreat to friends and family and would love to come back again in the future! :)
