Quiet location. Very well equipped. Have been here previously and would return.
Plenty of places to visit. …
The farmhouse was very clean. It was modern but full of character. It had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We enjoyed walking around one of the lochs. The check in and and check out was very straightforward. It was a family holiday and we all enjoyed our stay and will be back again.
Highly recommended. …
Oystercatcher Cottage was a perfect retreat, well equipped and well stocked. Thank you Graham for the provisions on arrival - they were just perfect. This is a well located cottage with everything to hand that you’ll need. We enjoyed Tarbat Ness Lighthouse, Dornoch and Falls of Shin, as well as just Firth gazing from the sunroom! Would definitely recommend and if we’re that way again would certainly like to stay again. …
Seaside Home in Invergordon Scottish Highlands
The best place to stay!
My husband Mike and I stayed here for almost a week in the beginning of October, 2018. We only wish we had been able to stay longer. This ended up being the perfect "home base" for our exploration of Western Scotland; Inverness, Lochness, Isle of Skye, etc.
The house was very spacious and cozy at the same time. The bedrooms are large, the beds are very comfortable, and the soaking tub in the main bathroom was wonderful. The owners are so friendly, and they left us a large basket with breakfast items in it, there were plenty of of condiments in the fridge, coffee tea and sugar in the cupboards and a welcome dram of whiskey.
We even had our own parking space!
The house is right beside the water, and when we slept with the window open, we awoke in the morning to the peaceful sound of waves lapping on the shore.
I highly recommend this house to anybody who would like spacious, private, cozy accommodations while exploring Inverness and surrounding area. If you have children, there is plenty of space for them too. We can't wait to stay there again sometime in the coming years, only for longer this time. …
The Foxes Den
Fantastic break away
Had a great time. Cottage is excellent. Everything you need. Comfy beds. Beautiful surroundings. Rather cold in February but that was to be expected. We did get plenty sunshine and no rain. Met up with family from Invergordon. Had lovely walk round the loch. Loch was frozen so unable to fish but will definitely go back. So nice to have milk, tea and shortbread waiting on us. Thanks for lovely stay. …
