“Cosy and unique in a beautiful setting” We were so excited to stay in The Hut after falling in love with it online and we were not disappointed. Rachel greeted us so warmly and gave us a tour of the hut and washroom, both of which were beautifully decorated, clean and cosy. We were a little concerned that the hut would be chilly due to our stay being in the middle of December, but that was not the case! We were very warm and comfortable for the duration.
The hut is full of lovely little touches, sweets by the bed, two wine glasses, a digital radio, fairy lights... Everywhere had something thoughtful. Plus, Rachel did a great job of bringing Christmas to our stay! It was so lovely to wake up in the morning and open the shutters to see a lovely view of the sunrise, too.
Breakfast was delivered without us even noticing and was delicious! The hut is located in a perfect place for day tripping. We took a scenic drive around Edale and the High Peaks, visited High Street Books in New Mills and had dinner in Buxton. When we arrived on Sunday evening, Rachel booked us in for a table for two at The Barrel Inn in Bretton that was only a short drive away and had lovely food.
We had a superb stay, the accommodation was beautiful, the place was lovely and Rachel was a perfect host. We didn't want to leave! We will definitely be back again. A great few days for relaxation and exploring.
“Comfortable” We enjoyed 8 days this September,at this cosy, comfortable cottage.
Lovely comfy beds!
We had an issue with the heating at first,as the weather was cold, but this was rectified very quickly and we were lovely and warm.
Wow! Three Bears is a delightful, quirky little cottage in the lovely peaceful village of Eyam. We stayed for 5 nights and it was perfect for exploring the Peak District. The owner Elaine provided us with all the information required for our stay along with recommendations of places to visit & eat. The bottle of fizz & chocolates were very much appreciated & the fresh flowers were a lovely touch. The Aga was great, I loved it. It looked scary to use at first but was surprisingly easy to cook on. The locals/neighbours were very friendly & gave us some good tips of where to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Three Bears Cottage & I would definitely recommend a stay here. …
Stunning cottage with garden and parking
Stayed in this lovely cottage in Eyam. Can't say anything negative about our stay. The cottage is situated on a quiet lane in Eyam with it's own parking space. The cottage was clean and very well kitted out with all the amenities you could want. All the communication with the owners was good and replies were always very quick. Would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing stay. Eyam has walks on the doorstep and the Peak District is so beautiful. So much more to see and do. …
East View, Eyam, Peak District, dog friendly, cosy, open fires, near Chatsworth.
We visited the cottage over New Year. Comfortable cottage with everything me and my family needed to enjoy our weekend away. Would benefit from a log burner in preference to an open fire as it was really smokey when the fire in the living room was lite. This caused a problem to one of our party who is asthmatic. We had to abandon lighting the fire. Apart from the smokey fire everything else was good. …
Thehuteyam - Peak District B&B & short breaks
The Hut is absolutely beautiful and it was beyond what we expected. Really well looked after with perfect finishing touches to make it a lovely, cosy, relaxing break away with a twist. The log burner makes the hut really warm, which was good in minus numbers, so you don't need to worry about lots of layers. Rachel was lovely and very welcoming. Beautiful scenery for walking, good local food, and a lovely little tearoom in the village, we will definitely be back ! …
