“Highly recommended accomodation” My wife and I with our Golden Retriever (Roddy) have just spent a week in what is a lovely well equipped and very comfortable cottage. The furnishings and rooms etc are of a fairly high standard and all necessary amenities are included.
The large totally enclosed garden was an added bonus and our pal Roddy made the most of it during our stay.
The cottage is ideally suited for visiting the Moray Firth area and the town of Elgin. Within 200M of the cottage there is a restaurant that is excellent for lunches and evening meals etc.
Will certainly consider returning again in the future!
“Perfect little getaway.” We have stayed here 3 times now and The Lodge is a proper home from home. Extremely well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need, lovely little bathroom with a great shower , 2 comfortable bedrooms (with nice bed linen) and all in all a very cosy place to stay. The garden is a great size and if you are blessed with good weather there is a BBQ and garden furniture. Up the road there is a children's play area and a handy village shop. Perfect location for exploring some amazing beaches (Hopeman is great for rockpooling) and if you like history theres plenty of castles, forts and battlegrounds to visit. Can't wait to go again!
“Lovely apartment” Myself & daughter in law stayed from 6-8 April. Apartment is central to Elgin & a short walk from the train station. A very clean & comfortable flat with everything you need. Very comfortable beds & great shower. Would definitely recommend the flat.
“A haven of peace and tranquillity” The quiet location of the Bothy, deep in a private garden and with views out to the fields beyond, has a special feel. Although small, the Bothy is conveniently arranged and very pleasant; it was also very clean. The owners were particularly kind and helpful, and keen to make our visit comfortable. We always enjoyed coming home to the peace and quiet after a busy day discovering Moray.
“fantastic house and location” we stayed here in a family group of 6 adults and 4 children. so much space for us all in the house and the outside space is amazing. Short drive from Elgin and Lossiemouth. House has everything you could need and all the girls loved the big mirrors! We will be back to stay in this wee gem of a find

Great cottage with added bonus of being dog friendly and having a garage.
The location is great for us, near all the fabulous beaches, forest walks and on the Moray coastal bike route. The cottage was as good as last year with the improvement of the garage now being lockable to secure bikes. The cottage has everything we need for a good holiday and is very comfortable. Enjoyed Lossiemouth beaches and my children loved the planes from the air force base circling overhead. Portsoy is worth a visit for the ice cream alone!
We have already booked for next year! …
