“A proper bothy!” Great to stay in a real Bothy. Deceptively large. A warm, clean, comfortable, cosy space - thoughtfully furnished. Perfect for short drives to the beautiful pine-wooded, sandy beaches, and long walks in the beautiful countryside. We enjoyed our stay.

“Highly recommended accomodation” My wife and I with our Golden Retriever (Roddy) have just spent a week in what is a lovely well equipped and very comfortable cottage. The furnishings and rooms etc are of a fairly high standard and all necessary amenities are included. The large totally enclosed garden was an added bonus and our pal Roddy made the most of it during our stay. The cottage is ideally suited for visiting the Moray Firth area and the town of Elgin. Within 200M of the cottage there is a restaurant that is excellent for lunches and evening meals etc. Will certainly consider returning again in the future!

“fantastic house and location” we stayed here in a family group of 6 adults and 4 children. so much space for us all in the house and the outside space is amazing. Short drive from Elgin and Lossiemouth. House has everything you could need and all the girls loved the big mirrors! We will be back to stay in this wee gem of a find

“Perfect little getaway.” We have stayed here 3 times now and The Lodge is a proper home from home. Extremely well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need, lovely little bathroom with a great shower , 2 comfortable bedrooms (with nice bed linen) and all in all a very cosy place to stay. The garden is a great size and if you are blessed with good weather there is a BBQ and garden furniture. Up the road there is a children's play area and a handy village shop. Perfect location for exploring some amazing beaches (Hopeman is great for rockpooling) and if you like history theres plenty of castles, forts and battlegrounds to visit. Can't wait to go again!
