Description

The Bothy is a traditional stone building over 200 years old situated in the peace and tranquility of beautiful Moray. It has a single bedroom with double bed, easy chairs and plenty of room for a travel cot for those travelling with a young child, a kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The main room has a wood panelled ceiling and all windows are double glazed. The kitchenette is fully equipped with all you need to prepare a simple meal and includes a microwave, under the counter full sized fridge with small freezer compartment and a cooker with double hob, grill and oven. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk will be provided to get you started.Outside there is a sheltered paved area surrounded by the original stone walls which was the Bothy's 'washhouse', ideal for sitting in the warm summer sun enjoying a BBQ admiring the stunning views or just watching the sunset. Less than four miles from the cathedral city of Elgin, the Bothy enjoys a quiet, secluded countryside location

The clean white sandy beaches of the Moray Firth are only a 15 minute drive away, with other local attractions including the world renowned Pluscarden Abbey and Speyside Whisky Trail also on the doorstep.The Bothy & its garden, while private, is within the boundary of the owners main property.
