Properties on Holiday Lettings can be sorted/ranked in the following ways:
Orders properties using various data points, in particular: ratings, number of bedrooms/bathrooms, minimum number of nights, and data relating to the interest in/bookings of the property through us, including the advertiser’s rate of providing quotes to travellers who make enquiries. Other factors include price, property capacity, number of photographs, location, amenities, appearance in search results, page views, and the advertiser’s responsiveness and cancellation rate.
Price low to high / high to low
Orders properties based on either (i) the property’s minimum nightly price, if the traveller has searched without dates, or (ii) the average nightly price for the applicable week of the year, if the traveller has input dates.
Orders properties by total number of reviews attached to the listing (highest to lowest), irrespective of average score. Where there is a listing with the same number of reviews as another (or a listing with no reviews), properties are sorted according to their proximity to the searched location.
“Great location, great cottage and great service” We managed to rent this cottage last minute so didn't expect much, but we were delighted to find that the location is virtually on the beach.....always a plus! The cottage is much bigger than it appears on the photos, Mike has done a wonderful job with a complete refurbishment of the building making it a very comfortable place to stay. The wood-burning stove is the star of the show! Nothing is too much trouble for Mike who we found to be attentive and very accommodating. We will certainly stay there again if we visit that area again.
“Beautifull holiday cottage.” Tastefully modernised fisherman's cottage looking on the Moray Firth. Extremely comfortable and welcoming. Well situated for exploring the surrounding countryside.
Added bonus, windows look on to the water where the dolphins put on spectacular show. Very generous welcome pack which was much appreciated. Owner Jillian very helpful and friendly. Will most certainly be returning for an other stay there.
“Great place” We stayed at the cabin for a weekend and we had a fantastic time, it’s a perfect place for a family break. The cabin is located in a peaceful area and gives a feeling of privacy. There are beautiful views from the property which can be admired from a veranda at the front of the cabin. It’s close to interesting walking and cycling paths. It’s is ten minutes from Cullen and around half an hour from Lossiemouth. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing gate away.
“Always exceeds expectations” Once again Alvina and Angus have excelled in their strive to make our holiday stay a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The accommodation is without doubt the cleanest and most well appointed that we have stayed in.
I need to find out where to get a bed that is as big and comfortable as the one in the master bedroom...……..so comfortable.
Love the area, and again we have found new walks that have escaped us in the past.
There are a lot of outdoor activities within 20 miles to keep us from getting bored.
We are already looking at booking again for later in the year.

“A most enjoyable cottage experience” We were entranced by the village of Findochty (Finechty to locals) on a rocky Moray coast with enchanting harbours and oodles of sandy beaches. A charming, well-appointed cottage with numerous extras and that is not even mentioning the extensive welcome pack. The whole place exuded warmth throughout.
