This beautiful former fishermans cottage is situated within the picturesque conservation area of Yardie. This property is located just metres from the sea front boasting uninterrupted views across the Moray Firth from the lounge, dining kitchen, master bedroom and roof terrace. Where dolphins can often be spotted swimming along the coast. The property has been newly decorated and equipped to the highest standard to ensure a comfortable relaxing getaway for both couples and families.
Seaview cottage has been fully renovated and modernised to a high standard and offers free Wi-Fi connection throughout the house. The property is over 2 floors:
Downstairs - fully equipped modern kitchen. Kitchen appliances include fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle and toaster. There is 6 Seat dining table ideally placed for taking in the beautiful sea views while eating a meal, or relaxing with a cuppa while dolphin spotting. Comfortable spacious living room with 4 seater sofa, large snugger chair, coffee tables, Electric stove heater, 48 inch smart TV and Sky TV. Bright and spacious bedroom with king sized bed. Shower room with toilet and wash hand basin.
Upstairs - Light and airy twin bedroom. Family bathroom with bath and over bath shower. Beautiful bright and spacious master bedroom with super king sized bed. This master bedroom has windows ideally placed to enjoy the sea waves rolling in from the comfort of you pillow. The master Bedroom has a door which leads onto the spacious roof top terrace. This is an ideal location for sitting out and enjoying the weather while taking in the sea views and of course keeping an eye out for any passing dolphins. There are a set of both adults and children's binoculars on hand to help locate dolphins and watch the passing fishing boats.

Yardie is a conservation area within Buckie. Yardie is a beautiful, peaceful haven where you can relax and enjoy the stunning sea views. Or can be used as a base to explore the many visitor attractions that the North East of Scotland and the highlands has to offer.

Buckie is a small fishing town on the Moray Coast.
The town centre of Buckie is just a short walk from the cottage. The town offers a good selection of supermarkets (Tesco, Lidl, co-op), Shops, Cafe's, restaurants, pubs, take away's, leisure centre and bingo hall. The leisure centre offers a fitness room, sauna and steam room and a 25 metre pool.
Minutes walk from the cottage is a play park for children in the old buckpool harbour. There is a large grassed area, where a set of small football goals are in place.
There are sixteen visitor attractions within the area many of which are suitable for both adults and children (More information on these located within guest folder) The area has 16 golf courses, including the famous championship links course at both Lossiemouth and Banff. Two golf courses are located within Buckie:
To the East of Buckie, Strathlene golf course has a spectacular clifftop location and stretched almost all the way to Findochty.
To the west of Buckie and also on a clifftop location lies Buckpool golf club. Which reaches out to the village of Portgordon.
Seaview Cottage is located a couple of minutes walk from the start/finish of the Speyside way. The Speyside way runs from Buckie to Aviemore on the edge of the Cairngorm mountains, a distance of approximately 65 miles.
Moray is the ancestral home of the Whisky distilling industry and the unique malt whisky trail links several of the areas leading distilleries where visitors can get an insight into the production of Scotland's national drink. Seaview Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Whisky trail and visiting local distilleries such as the Strathiisla distillery, Glenglassaugh distillery, Benromach distillery, Dallas Dhu distillery and the many other distilleries in the local area.

Moray is a top destination for sea fishing, as well as Salmon and Trout fishing on the world famous River Spey and the River Findhorn. There are activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, walking, field sports, hiking, hill walking, climbing, sailing, diving, water skiing and winter skiing. Moray is the county of Macbeth and is steeped in history, with a wealth of castles, historical buildings and sites to explore.
