“Amazing Hosts, Ideal Location and Lovely Cottage!” I visited Cheddar for the weekend for my Dad's 63rd birthday with my partner, and my Dad's 2 dogs. Helen is a perfect host, she makes sure you feel at home for the duration of your trip. She is happy to recommend walks, restaurants, pubs and days out. I was amazed at the personal touches which really did make the difference, when we arrived we were already supplied with tea / coffee / milk / sugar / biscuits and even a birthday cake for my Dad! The location is ideal, just facing the ticket / tourist information point for Cheddar Gorge. There are numerous tea rooms, pubs, restaurants and a tesco and sainsbury's nearby. So there is always something to keep you busy if you have any energy left after Gorge Walks!
