“had everything we needed” Nice cottage, had everything we needed including a drier! In a small village just outside Blaenaeu. Beautifully updated cottage that has a lovely woodburner in the downstairs room. Good area for sightseeing and walking. Lots of industrial heritage about i.e. slateworks. Quiet village but pubs etc about a mile away.

“Quaint and cozy” Lovely clean cottage, homely and comfortable! Joanna met us at the cottage and showed us around the cottage and pointed out a few dog walks and the best places to eat out.There are several folders to browse through detailing various activities/sight seeing/pubs and walks...actually covering everything you could think of possibly doing! Behind the cottage is a lovely walk that can be as short or long as you wish, with the sound of the stream wooshing and the sheep tentatively watching it's a relaxing walk. We were lucky with the weather, blue skies and no rain. After a day out walking and sightseeing it was lovely to get back at get the log burner throwing the heat out....with the added bonus of it being a gas log burner...no having to keep putting logs on!! A selection of games and dvds to keep you occupied in the evening. On the whole a lovely cottage, well equipped with all you could need. Thanks Joanne, we are missing it already.
