“Wonderful break at an idyllic retreat” Had a wonderful week at this cosy cottage with our two children and dog. The weather wasn't the best but the cottage more than made up for it with it's covered terrace and open fire in the lounge area to relax and dry out! The freshly baked bread and cakes from the local bakery and coffee shop were a welcome treat on arrival, and Alan the owner was readily available to deal with queries and was friendly and helpful.
An idyllic base from which to explore the surrounding areas of Snowdonia and the Welsh coast, and lovely to return in the evenings to enjoy the amazing views from the back of the cottage. We didn't want to leave! Overall highly recommended and would love to return.
“Quaint and cozy” Lovely clean cottage, homely and comfortable! Joanna met us at the cottage and showed us around the cottage and pointed out a few dog walks and the best places to eat out. There are several folders to browse through detailing various activities/sight seeing/pubs and walks...actually covering everything you could think of possibly doing! Behind the cottage is a lovely walk that can be as short or long as you wish, with the sound of the stream wooshing and the sheep tentatively watching it's a relaxing walk. We were lucky with the weather, blue skies and no rain. After a day out walking and sightseeing it was lovely to get back at get the log burner throwing the heat out....with the added bonus of it being a gas log burner...no having to keep putting logs on!! A selection of games and dvds to keep you occupied in the evening. On the whole a lovely cottage, well equipped with all you could need. Thanks Joanne, we are missing it already.
