“Perfect” Just what the doctor ordered. Stayed for four nights. It might have been chilly outside but the cottage was toasty warm. Lovely touches with the homemade cake and freshly laid eggs from the chickens in the field next door (which they share with two adorable Shetland ponies). The cottage was full of character with the added bonus of being comfortable and had every mod con (including hair straighteners!!). Definitely want to visit again. Ignore the sock, my size three feet for always trying to break free.

“Lovely Barn and location” We have just returned from a lovely weekend at The Dutch Barn. The location is stunning and the barn itself is clean, comfortable and equipped to a very high standard. The hot tub was much appreciated and enjoyed after long walks in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Gill and Jonathan were very friendly and helpful and the welcome basket was a lovely thought. We would highly recommend The Dutch Barn.

“Cosy remote get away” We booked a few nights here and were really pleased with how well equiped, clean and tidy the place was, we even had a useful welcome pack better than many hotel! It's small and cosy and in a fairly remote location with great countryside and the nearby camping fields and farmhouse located next to and around it. There was no hassle or fuss booking it either which was great. It's not a modern 'flash Harry' accommodation but is lovely, comfortable, clean really well equiped and warm, small dogs are welcome (double check with owner first though when booking). If you want a nice cosy quiet countryside base to explore the area this is worth consideration.

“Really a hidden gem!!!” The Barn@The Old Bakery is an ideal location to explore The Peak District! We are so glad we found this little gem in the picturesque village of Youlgrave. The owners are very helpful and friendly and gave us some very useful information. The property itself is clean and well equipped. It felt like home. We'll certainly be back! “Chantry Cottage Ashford in the Water” Comfortable Accomodation with quiet and peaceful ambience. Very pleasant courtyard garden to sit and enjoy, the cockerel next door. No WiFi which was a pain and a spare front door key would have been useful. Overall an excellent cottage to enjoy the delights of this beautiful Derbyshire village.
