“fabulous stay over New Year” as other reviewers have said the photos do not do justice to this cottage - it is cosy, comfortable and inviting, with everything you could possibly need. Ann was very welcoming & helpful, leaving mince pies, milk in a jug & even teabags in the pot on our arrival. surrounded by beautiful countryside there is great walking on the doorstep & further afield. would definitely stay again!
“Just wonderful !” The cottage is so well located. Amazing views and beautiful countryside but really near to plenty of shops and the little town for extra bits and bobs.
The cottage itself is really well presented, such lovely features and really clean.
My favourite thing was the bi-folding doors leading out to the stunning gardens, river and orchard.
Kerry the owner couldn' t have been more helpful and she even rang us to offer us an earlier check-in, which we really appreciated travelling with 2 small children.
We spent the time exploring the peak district and spent a cheeky few hours at Alton Towers. We can't wait to come back when it's a bit colder, to make the most of the open fire.
