“Beautiful, well equipped, comfortable and a cut above the norm for self catering accomodation.” Swallows Cottage is a superb property. It oozes style and comfort from the moment you walk in. It is beautifully furnished, very clean and well equipped. Bedding and towels are all high quality and so clean and plentiful. We were lucky enough to stay in 30 degree sunshine so the pool was brilliant. The pool, like the cottage is clean and well kept. The surrounding gardens are immaculate and very pretty. The owners Izzy and Simon were very welcoming and despite the fact that their home is next door it did not feel instrusive at all. Our children ( 11and 7) loved the place and did not want to leave. I agree that it is unsuitable for really young children as I think you would be anxious about them making a mess of the lovely furniture, carpets etc and there is a pond in the gardens. It provides a base for a really relaxing holiday and we will definately be back.
