The West Country / Cornwall region
Cornwall is a food lovers paradise. In Padstow alone there are many gourmet resaturants to choose from. Rick Stiens Seafood is probably the most famous, but the award winning number 6 and several others compete to offer a high standard for the discerning diner.
For a change of scene take the ferry to Rock and experience a different taste on offer across the estuary at the acclaimed St.Enodoc hotel, returning home on the night taxi, a fun way to see Padstow by night.
A taxi ride away is the Michelin star winner Ripleys or Jamie Olivers at Watergate Bay.
A selection of fine fish is available at the Stiens Deli and the local shops.
For a more energetic holiday there is a range of watersports on offer at the Rock ski school or surf school at Harlyn Bay.
Just a short drive away are the golf courses at Trevose and St.Enedoc.
The Padstow / Padstow Harbour area
The beautiful fishing village of Padstow has retained it's character as an active fishing port. The stunning sunsets and the long sand beaches make Padstow the perfect retreat for a relaxing break away. Padstow is a haven for dining and simply soaking up the Cornish atmosphere.
The freshest fish and seafood is available from the quay daily. The Stiens Cookery school offers courses for adults and children throughout the year and special evenings.
Prideaux Place, an historic Elizabethan house set within it's own deer park offers afternoon tea in an idylic setting and music evenings throughout the summer.
There is so much to do you will wonder how to fit it all in.
The Camel Trail is a 22 mile cycle trail with a vineyard on route to stop and sample a selection of locally produced wine.
Padstow offers something for everybody from the most active holiday to complete relaxation.
