We invite you to come relax on a Balcony and enjoy our stunning sea views during your stay in our 4**** Apartment just 200 yards from the superb sandy beach and coastal footpath at Harlyn Bay, Padstow, Cornwall.
The apartment comprises of a large lounge; kitchen/diner; double bedroom with en-suite; twin single and bathroom. There is also a garden with tables, chairs and sun loungers.

Harlyn Bay is renowned for safe bathing and good surfing conditions with golden sands, rock pools to explore and wonderful cliff top walks along the coastal path in both directions - especially beautiful in spring and early summer when fringed with wild flowers. Over the years Yellow Sands has welcomed back many families and couples for their annual summer and seasonal breaks. We hope to welcome you here sometime too!

PADSTOW is only 3 miles away. Built around a cove on the River Camel Estuary it has grown over centuries into a picturesque fishing harbour town with lots to tell in terms of history and custom.

PADSTOW is only 3 miles away with its picturesque fishing harbour. The quay is a hive of activity all year round with yachts moored next to tiny rowing boats or fishing vessels and some excellent pubs; restaurants; cafes and a fine selection of small shops to wander around for gifts and provisions. St Merryn village is only 1 mile away and has all the essential local amenities; A Medieval parish Church; Village Shops; Post Office; Petrol Station & restaurants.

The Padstow area

There is also a wide variety of pastimes near by, the harbour at Padstow offers sea-fishing trips; cruises along the coast and speedboat rides. The estuary is ideal for water sports and the Camel Trail wends its way along the old railway route to Wadebridge and onto Bodmin for scenic cycle ride and walks.… Other local leisure pursuits include Horse Riding; Go Karting; Tennis; Bowls; Harlyn Surf school and for Golf enthusiasts there are championship links courses close by at Trevose and St Enodoc and across the estuary at Rock.

There are 6 other sandy beaches all within 15minutes drive.

How to find us.

By Road.
Exit M5 at junction 31, follow A30 until you see signs for Bodmin and Wadebridge. At Wadebride follow signs for Padstow. At Padstow you will see signs for Harlyn Bay, we are 200 yards up the hill from the beach.

By Rail
Nearest Station is Bodmin Parkway approx 15 miles with regular bus or taxi transfer onwards.

By Air
Newquay Airport is approx 10 miles with a selection of regional destinations plus Car Hire facility.

“Fabulous holiday accomodation” We have been staying at Yellow Sands for many years. Martin and Debbie are excellent hosts. The accommodation is first class. Views of Harlyn Bay are amazing. The gardens are delightful with picnic and garden chairs provided. For us the location is perfect 6 sandy beaches that can easily be walked to. Lots of coastal walks can be accessed from Yellow Sands. No need to take the car out at all! I look forward to our next visit.

“Wonderful accommodation in a fantastic location” We have just returned from our second two week stay at Yellow Sands Apartments at Harlyn Bay. We would just like to say how much we have enjoyed our stays here and have already booked for four weeks next year. Debbie and Martin the owners do a fantastic job of looking after the apartments, which are spotless, and fully equipped to a very high standard with everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The gardens are tended regularly by Martin ensuring that you have a lovely outside garden area with sun loungers etc to relax on. Nothing is too much trouble for them ensuring you have everything you need. The Apartment we stayed in has the most fantastic view of Harlyn Bay from nearly every room, wished we could take this view home with us. The wonderful Harlyn Bay beach is just a five minute walk away down a private lane and from there you are able to walk to some of the other Bays. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending these Apartments to our friends and family. Well done Debbie and Martin.,
