Studio flat on the first floor of a converted cider barn, approached by outside steps. Situated in rural countryside between the historic market towns of Ludlow and Leominster.
The flat comprises a double bed and en-suite shower room with a galley kitchen, sitting area and dining table. The kitchen has an electric hob, and a combination microwave and fridge. There is freezer space in an outbuilding if required. It also has free wi fi.
Parking is on the drive outside the flat and there is a small sitting area outside the flat. Guests are free to wander around the fields connected to the property.
Brook house farm is a smallholding and has some horses and ponies, some sheep and chickens. We also have two friendly border terriers.
Dogs are welcome by arrangement and horses can also be brought by arrangement as there is beautiful walking and riding nearby. Only a small lane and then miles of countryside to roam in.
There are several National Trust properties in the area as well as ruined castles and the Historic Ironbridge museums and sites are only about 40 minutes away.
The town of Leominster is full of antique shops and has a busy auction house and Ludlow has beautiful buildings and interesting shops plus a market 3 days a week and farmers' markets, craft markets and antique markets on other days. The village of Yarpole with it's award winning shop in the church and a pub is about 20min walk away on footpaths across fields.
The flat has a large en-suite shower room, a spacious sitting area and a compact kitchen fitted with a ceramic hob and a combination microwave and a round table to eat your meals. The bed is an antique brass double bed with a really comfortable mattress. There are lots of original old beams and the floor has a bit of a slope to it!

The Heart of England/Peak District
Situated in a rural area with beautiful walking and riding. Able to walk or ride for hours without going near a road. Between Leominster with its many antique shops and Ludlow with its historic buildings and markets. The National Trust properties of Croft Castle and Berrington Hall are within easy reach. Croft Castle can even be walked to without going on a road apart from the lane on which the property is situated.
Bircher village is one and a half miles from the village of Yarpole which has a prize winning village shop inside the church and a popular local pub.
From Leominster you can follow the 'black and white trail' of historic black and white houses. There are also cheese making farms and cider mills to visit.
